I have been waiting for the one patiently as my car is about 10 days away from being delivered to me. Mine is going to be same exact Spect except it will have the adjustable bucket seats versus the ones that are in the car that you guys reviewed. Since I am old, I don’t have Instagram, but I have to look up this guy somehow. I have 11 BMW M cars in my collection, some of them pretty rare and I’m curious how My collection compares to his. Damn that steering rack is so quick. Little to almost non input to turn on apex or change directions at intersection. Must feel like a very agille car.

This definitely feels more like a big turbo car with an aggressive increase in torque once the turbo kicks in - power delivery seems less linear. Am I wrong or correct?
@@AutoTopnl All new M performance models have jolting shifts in Sport+ with the gearbox in sport. They are not supposed to shove you, that would be uncomfortable. They are very noticeable though. They don't seem much different as they are in this video.
I would assume that after the car has done some miles and not just the break in portion it will settle a bit and become more stable at extremely high speeds.
2:00 I had the exact same feeling after some modifications, you do get the weird sensation of being in a different car... Nice BMW, but my brain still gets confused with the bunny front teeth grill. BMW clearly broke their own design language on the new M models. That said I always love interior designs with the dash angled towards the driver.
Solid mounted rear subframe came stock on a base F82, along with the carbon fiber trunk and the carbon driveshaft. They are basically re-using old components and selling it 2x the price is my takeaway, except this time there is no M-DCT.
BMW is one of the last car brands that’s still make cars in kind of old school way. Without full electrification, soft limiters at 2000rpm and other balls less stuff.
BMW emphasised the CSL being a fast road-car yet they’ve removed the rear seats to give stowage for a lid? I think its AWESOME, the CSL. However, I think the whole 100kg weight saving is marketing tripe. They’ve simply removed a load of kit, rather than using more exotic materials to save weight. Good for marketing and good for the bottom-line. It’s a shame nomenclature is now used to create demand rather than actually standing for real development. Most of the things done to the CSL can be copied for the £40k extra the car costs, with a little left over!
When you are watching this and don't jump straight when he starts driving is when you realise you love this special car...after hating it when it came out. The best part to me are the badges!!

With an DCT this would have been a perfect car. I really just dont like the torque converter in an M3/4. It doesn't feel right when driving it.
