- I put my RedCamp folding wood burning stove to the test! I cook a full breakfast on it with a huge cast iron frying pan. Let's see how it holds up to the challenge. I give you my review and thoughts on it afterwards.

Dude. Mine arrived in the mail minutes ago. I've watched a bunch of reviews complaining about the grill sliding around and NO ONE caught the handles thing! Good on you. More importantly, one of the complaints was that larger pots covered the top completely and cut off airflow. I almost didn't buy it because of that, but one of the videos discussed adding metal crosspieces to create a gap.
YOUR way automatically creates that gap. You're the real MVP! Subscribed!

You could also drill some holes near the top to help the smoke vent.
Nice to use that instead of ppl throwing their scrap tanks all over the woods

I got one , it’s nice , but not super lightweight , I didn’t realize about the handles coming up to lock the gril , that is what I was concerned about , but this is what created airflow for bigger pans , you can also pack it with smaller lengths of wood or charcoal and shut the door to control the flames better, good thing about cast iron , just scrape it out and wipe it down and it don’t need to be washed all the time
I think I'm going to purchase the bigger one for next season. Mine has gotten so much use I don't think it will hold up another year.

Just got mine two days ago. Same thing with the door. Stuck my knife between the door and frame where the rivet goes through and stretched a bit. 👍 The latch is a little loose so I put a metal flat washer under the keyring. 👍

Good to see at least one review where the individual set up the top grill plate correctly with the handles, so many morons failed to work that out. Not such a smart move have the frypan handle over the fire box door though.

Well I suppose so although it's not very big and unless you were in a small enclosed place I doubt it would really heat up a room. Perhaps I'll have to try a survival video with it... 🤔

It is the smaller one. I'm looking in to getting the larger one maybe next season but this one works really well. I've used it so much this season.

I am convinced that the extra weight of the cast iron is worth it. You burn and waste so much food on titanium pans

This is actually the smaller model.
I purchased a large one and I have not yet to try it. I am excited to use it on my very first trip in july. The reason I ask is because it’s very hard to tell the size on videos I think I’d rather have the smallest one but then I think mine
will serve me as heat source for colder nights . Mine did not come with the blue wrap Maybe mine was a return but everything looked fine and everything was there. Thank you for the response
