เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 25 พ.ค. 2020
The Wandering Wayfarer strives to inspire people to get off the couch and explore nature. An expert I am not but I love to learn and share what what I know. Ever since I was young I have loved being in the outdoors fishing, camping, hiking and exploring. I hope you will join me and my family in our adventures and share some of your own. Cheers!
Best Fishing Video Ever? Worm, Hook, Bobber
Is this possibly the best fishing video ever? mmmmmm probably not. All we used was a hook, worm, and bobber. What would you expect?

Found a pretty strange thing in the woods while out on a fishing trip. Got an eerie and creepy feeling while walking through there. Very odd place. #strange #creepy #abandonedplaces #inthewoods #eerie

You aren’t crawfish hunting. Actually catch one.
It works well! Got our kayaks today and this is how we brought them home. Haven't tried the highway yet though
Picking up my kayaks tomorrow and trying this method!
@@itstaynatbaybee fantastic! I'm still using this method to this day. Works wonderfully
Deam, you just saved me spending $400 beer bucks
@@MrCleanOC glad I could help!!
How did you find paddling across Smoke?
@@JayCharron-dn7pb it was a long paddle, but if you hug the shore line it wasn't to bad. Think it took us a little over an hour from put in to the portage
What kind of yeast dry or self rising
@@billiejeanbaccus159 dry yeast 😁
@@TheWanderingWayfarer thank you I'm new at this.
@@billiejeanbaccus159 my pleasure! Let me know how it turns out. 😁
Is it safe to eat fish from this lake?
Ahhh so wheres the part where you secure the kyak?
Exact same method that you do with the noodles but just over the kayak.
I work in a research lab and I need to transport a kayak to a field site, but I don't have any roof racks (or a big car, for that matter). This video was really great. Thank you so much!!
Glad I could help! Still using pool noodles to this day😁 Who needs roof racks?
thats that porno commercial music
Nice job jeff
I used to use dryer lint until I noticed all the hair and it stinks! I use cotton balls and Vaseline now
If you coat the lint with vaseline and stuff it in a empty toilet paper roll, it will last/burn at least 10x longer to allow more time for your fire to get going
Reckon wrapping it in gorilla tape would extend the life?
Whats the brand ????
RedCamp
Wtf is that strap and where can I get it???❤
Oh nvm I see now
Yeah just your classic strap down straps.
Did you touch the fire???
Hey there! If i had 2 kayaks, would i put pool noodle between the kayaks or just use a cam strap over the 2nd kayak?
Honestly I've never tried 2 kayaks. I'm not entirely sure how it would work.
Add Vaseline or wax to the lint it burns a lot linger
Dude won’t get that smell off his lips after kissing that Cisco 🤮
Great video
Wow amazing 🐟
I am convinced that the extra weight of the cast iron is worth it. You burn and waste so much food on titanium pans
Nice!
May I suggest you learn how to season your skillet before your next breakfast! Other wise a nice review! Just ordered mine! Thanks, well done! 🥓🍳
My husband went fishing the other day and caught a bass , it was smaller than the lure
Great vid, Pal! I love the beer sip through the gopro pov- where you look up to the sky. Cool move.
great video
With all the POV I felt I was their with you 👍🥰🎣 Hope your keeping well & having a nice start to September, Take Care ❤️🤩xx
It doesn't matter if it's just a bluegill, at least you caught a fish. The hair and beard.... you're looking so mountain man-ish. 😂🤣
*You literally caught the same amount of Canadians as you did fish, I know which one I would prefer battered with some chips. Also I like the sky shots every time you took a swig of beer.*
*Ok those noises at night would be too much for me haha, I would be worried about bears and wolves all night. I am watching a new TV show set in the Canadian Wilderness where 11 British people are left alone with just a camera and few supplies. First guy went in 4 hrs after cutting himself with his axe haha*
Haha! Those were just loons my friend. I find their calls quite soothing. We were well prepared for any bear encounters. Didn't see any. I grew up in the Canadian wilderness my man and bears really aren't that scary. It's the moose you gotta watch out for. Those monsters will ruin your day. I'll really have to give that show a watch one of these days.
Good when a fish walks the line lol
😂🤣 Good one!
Swap out that bud though....
I hear you my guy. TH-cam frowns on that though 😉
my guy
Yes sir!
Wow, that looks so cool . You were hammering those perch, they're so tasty too.
Thanks buddy! I caught so many perch out there. Couple bass to but if course without the camera.
You Keep vanishing & then re appearing 🤔🤪 Hope your all keeping well & having a lovely Year 👍🥰 My Wife & the kids & the 3 dogs have been doing quite a bit of Camping these last few months, in fact they are all at a Place called Filey for the week from next Tuesday, its a little Seaside Town 🫢 This place looks lovely but we Stakes’s don’t do well in the wilderness 😳😂 Thanks for sharing the Adventure with us, we enjoyed watching ❤️🤩xx
Hey buddy! Glad to hear you're doing some camping! I've decided to just film when I can and not force it. Feels better that way. Glad you and the family are well!
Such great scenery! Thanks so much for sharing
It was amazing! Can't wait to get out there again!
Looked great dude! Nice perch and cool to see a ferret. Looked like a blast!
Thanks man! Was a great trip. Can't wait to do it again!
beautiful spot, Pal. How bad were the skeeters?
Thanks man! Like almost non existent which was weird.
ALIENS@@TheWanderingWayfarer
unreal trip, ))
Totally epic my friend!
Ahhh the sound of rain
And thunder! Not much beats it.
best sound there is.
You're not wrong! Not much beats it my friend.
The twigs burnt quickly.
Sure did. Gotta be quick.
I got one , it’s nice , but not super lightweight , I didn’t realize about the handles coming up to lock the gril , that is what I was concerned about , but this is what created airflow for bigger pans , you can also pack it with smaller lengths of wood or charcoal and shut the door to control the flames better, good thing about cast iron , just scrape it out and wipe it down and it don’t need to be washed all the time
I think I'm going to purchase the bigger one for next season. Mine has gotten so much use I don't think it will hold up another year.
@@TheWanderingWayfarer I got the smaller one ,
the green bastard, parts unknown love it
Thank you for getting that!!!! You are now my new favorite person. 🤣😂
A guy on a kayak fishing forum sent this to me. Good hack but wonder if it would damage the weather seal?
I've been doing it for many years. I've had zero issues with that.
@@TheWanderingWayfarer the roof racks for my new SUV is on back order. I’ll try this great idea. Thanks!
@@TheWanderingWayfarer you think the noodles would hold up for a 15 hour drive?
@@spindoggytheexplorer2915 I don't see why not. It's pretty secure when the kayak is on top and strapped down.
Great video we just did an Asian snack box video coming soon
Thanks buddy! It's been a busy summer for me. I promise to catch up on some of your videos soon. Thanks for watching!
Awesome
It's my go to.
Always and every day on my keychain "whistle". This simple thing can get you out of DoDo like saving your life.
Absolutely! One of my flint strikers is also a whistle. Great combo to have.
