OPENING DAY NORTHERN WISCONSIN MUSKY FLOAT

Fischer and His Dad Jason go on a musky float in our Jon Boat with Capt. Joe Junion. Joe caught a nice musky but not before we got shot at from a home on the river. Northern Wisconsin has lots of rivers to explore.

If you slowly retrieve down you will catch a whole lot more fish go to 821 gear ratio and you're reeling as fast as you can I got a 71 trance and I slow roll across the bottom and I catch twice as many fish as somebody burning on

I didn't start being consistently successful until I slowed down. That said I would bet that Fischer has caught more muskie then both of us put together.

Just put the net in the water and let the angler put the fish in the net never chase the fishWith the net

Yea it was not pretty as most of my net jobs. But river Muskies and current make it interesting.

@@adventures8977 even more so when using a flimsy fly rod as you call it it's almost impossible to knit a muskie the way you think you've never ever ever caught a muskie so stick to what you know sis little pretty girl things is what you like 🤣😂🤣

@kevintod6075 Why do you say "even more so with a fly rod"? There's no risk of the single hook on the fly getting caught on the side of the net like there is with a treble, and the fly rod is weak compared to a baitcaster not to mention the huge current that they're fighting.
