For the Hulk, did u try both of those test seats? because it looks like u sat in the regular sized tester. the one on the left is for larger riders. u can tell because it has 2 front restaints in stead of one and i think they are a little longer. when iv gone on the hulk i always get sent to a row for larger riders.
That is so dangerous they let the girl sit next to you?? I've been on that the ride and no way would I let a kid sit there! That drop is brutal. I wont even go on it anymore.
I have that problem with even rides that are single seat rides and the harness doesn't come down tight enough. I remember when my 1st husband an I went on our honeymoon we went to Disney World and on the ride Tower of Terror there was almost a 6inch gap between the top of my lap and the lap bar so when the ride dropped I would come a few inches off the seat unless I used either my knees or arms wedged under the bar to keep my butt on the seat. On coasters it's a little nerve-wracking when you feel the harness give a little until the belt catches. So this does go both ways for petite people as well as plus size people
This basically shows us that universal is not plus size friendly. I am so glad I found this out now instead of my husband and I wasting our money and going there. Thank you Jason.
This is why Disneyland & California Adventures have become my home parks. It's plus size friendly for about 90% of the attractions and the ones that aren't are the kiddy rides. Universal has the issue where they force the rider to mold to the seat and not the seat mold to the rider. I've seen physically fit people struggle to get on the Mario Kart ride and Jurassic World at Universal Studios because they are too tall. I'm a 48" waist line and I was barely able to squeeze on The Mummy ride, but I couldn't do any of the Harry Potter rides which was a bummer. I was also able to barely fit on Secret Life of Pets, but the guy behind me was smaller than me and he couldn't get the green light. The ride vehicles are very weird. I really have to commend the Cast Members at Universal. They are very respectful and don't make you feel embarrased when they have you try the seats. They will work with you any way they can to help make you fit. I went with my wife who is much smaller than me and when I couldn't fit on Forbidden Journey they gave me a front of the line pass to any ride of my choosing that I know I could fit on.
You are an absolute king. We have almost identical height and weight and I'm about to head to UO and have been very worried about fitting. Thank you for what you do!!!!
I am about 315 lbs and 6' tall. My chest is 57 in and 57.5 in around my midsection. Do you think I will be able to ride velocicoaster and harry potter rides?

I’m 5’11 and 285 lb. I can ride every single ride at universal except the doom ride.

Universal is not for me. I don't fit in much either. I do much better at Disney.
Keep grinding brother can't wait for the day you get to ride all the rides you couldn't!

They are supposed to but didn't that day. The team member helped me get the buckle on.
When we were there in March the team member wouldn’t help with the belt on Popeye and I had to get off
