I copped a negative this week too. Buyer left a negative saying that the wallet she bought was well used and doesn't close. Well, yes.. it's a second hand product love... Anyways, got the item back... it closes fine. I mention this to her and she comes back with 'It won't close with all my cards in it'... I'm not sure how that is my fault but here we are LOL
I always use a stock photo as well as my own. Buyer didn’t look past the stock photo, didn’t even read the description. Had a go at me, him I mentioned state of the box, didn’t hear from him again.
There really should be some recourse for sellers who receive negative feedback because the buyer was lazy and didn't read item description. Name and shame away!
Yeah, I got my first negative just after Christmas. Buyer complained the jackets concealed hood was worn, despite initally sending me an offer with £15 off, and thanking me for being honest that the hood was worn but asking if I'd accept the offer if they took the risk on the damaged hood... 🤷♂️ they'd never even messaged after that offer, or tried to return it. Obviously eBay refused to remove the feedback despite the situation being quite unfair.
I wouldn’t worry, I sold a watch last week, faulty and I used an AI description I didn’t check. Note to self, when using another listing to make one, check all the specifics.
@ with mine it was literally a small hole in the box. I think we should be able to sell stuff as not working as long as we state that. Or state damage it’s such a tough call
A couple of things could be at play. I've seen people intentionally give negative feedback or claim not received, and I think it's a way to gear for a refund and keep the items. Or they are just a tool. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them comprehend a very clear eBay description..😂.
I've put fault photos at the end, I'll start putting them earlier. I got a +ve but 'unfortunately the damage was noticeable" frustrating when the desc and photos show the damage.
This guy sucks! He sold me a jigsaw puzzle and it arrived in pieces! 🤣 I used to sell plant cuttings and occasionally got someone complaining they were tiny and not a full plant, even though all the images included a steel rule for scale and the description stated the approximate size. I think there's that 1% who wouldn't be happy buying a $20 bill for $5. Cheers!
I got negative feedback because Australia Post took more than usual time to deliver the item, I post mostly on the day of purchase, but this particular item took 3 weeks to get to the buyer and I'm in the same state. I'd love to get feedback on all items as it confirms they've received their item particularly for small items (Envelopes etc.) that don't have tracking. You don't suck Uncle by the way.
@@videohistorysnippets8963 I had one parcel that took two months to get from Perth to NSW. Went back and forth like 20-30 times. Customer didn’t put any negative feedback.
I'm waiting to write a bad review when i get my refund. On the 13th December i bought something for $150, a month later it hadn't been sent. After the third message to her on January 12th threatening to report her to ebay she finally replied. Saying if i can find it I'll send it or i can refund you. I said what do you mean if you can find it i paid for it on the 13th December? Got not reply and ebay said i was getting a refund.
This youtuber sucks! (Just kidding). Wouldn't be surprised if they missed the 5th photo. When I use ebay on my internet browser it shows 4 photos and it isnt clear you can scroll down for more. No excuse to say you suck though.

It just annoyed me. The guy didnt read and I listed the very small damage
@@geelong-flipper I bet it did, maybe we shouldn’t list things with issues? I sell quite a bit of items that don’t work.

Leaving me a neg earns the buyer a 1 way ticket to my block list and is the best way to get me to be spiteful and unhelpful. 😂

I put DAMAGED or FAULTY at the start of every damaged or faulty item just to make sure. I know US buyers are particularly bad at reading descriptions
I have 6000 sold and a 98% feedback people are miserable

Very undeserved feedback . I been on ebay since 2004 my block list is massive. I like Geelong, have friends at Mt Duneed , nice area.
