Joe: Nice, like I'm a clown and I amuse you?
"First of all, I'm not doin your show."😂😂
Straight to the point.
'He told me a lot of really harsh things about.. myself.'
+macumus Why?
His delivery is amazing.

How I am funny?
i was gonna like this comment then i realised i already did it a year ago.
"I went down to his house, and met him, and he told me a lot of really harsh things about myself"--Joe Pesci's a gangster therapist.
Joe pesci is a busy man after all, answering prayers with a baseball bat.
Joe bless you
Straighten cocksuckers out with one visit
@@peterfarrabuhk123
Answering prayers with a baseball bat
Luke Skywalker someone doesn’t get the George Carlin reference
We all pray for joe pecci, following George carlin
Now go and get your shine box, Louie
yes
+Jack Robichau Haha
Haha
hahaha gotta love goodfellas
+Jack Robichau I don't shine shoes anymore..
Louis doesn't suck, he strokes.
Not a bad one👏
Wouldn't wanna shake hands with that guy if u know what I mean
NiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIICE! Well done sir.
@@luca1847 then don't touch women
As long as he doesn’t like Family Strokes
"You're not so much a comedian as you think you are, pal." This is the greatest story ever told
Not
I can just hear his voice saying it.
lmfao thats the most joe pesci thing ive ever heard.
“You’re not as much of a comedian as you think you are, pal!” Damn, Pesci is a savage
Louis ck is funny? Funny how ? Does he amuse me ? does he make me laugh?
What is he a clown? 😂
+isaac campos You know, just the way he tells the jokes, he is funny.
Is he funny like a clown?
+omertadmn looks like somebody never watched Goodfellas
Plot twist: "Looks like somebody never watched Goodfellas" turns out to also be a line from that scene.
I love how Louis is so empowered by that whole experience.
The way Louis handled this, totally unperturbed by Pesci and calling him a "nice guy" but without any arrogance or visible sarcasm is great.
Reason why I love him
This why I love him he jokes about everything and never get offended
Joe didn't think Louie was a funny guy, he didn't AMUSE him
+53rdAndThird "amuj"
+Norman Singh
He is making a reference to a movie. Forget about it.
+Norman Singh Joe Pesci funny guy on google, ur welcome.
+Chill google how, like a clown, is that what your saying.
***** Hey you wanna laugh? Last week this prick asked me to christen his kid!
We need this talented man back. I still laugh at his old specials.
Did you watch his new one Sincerely? It's amazing he hasn't lost a step he's as sharp as ever lmao. H has another new one coming out any day now I'm not sure when tho can't wait
@@jamalginsburghasidichomebo6009 he just released a new one, Sorry. Bought it on his website, worth every penny.
@@chipishor I forgive you.
A blessing in disguise. Alan Alda was INCREDIBLE.
yup, he nailed the part like it was a Woody Allen movie :D
Aladdin had nothing to do with this
One of those performances where you feel like the actor is the character, and noone else could've done it.
In Pesci's Defense, we all clearly remember and are familiar with his famous comedy album, _"Vincent Languardia Gambini Sings Just For You"_ and how that went quadruple platinum and took the comedy world by storm with its unprecedented success. Oh wait.
+DrDeathpwnsu Hahaha!
+DrDeathpwnsu lol
Someone pls explain this for me
+Da Eul Kim Sarcasm.
DrDeathpwnsu Idk man. "If It Doesn't Snow on Christmas" might just be my favorite Christmas song.
So George Carlin was Louis' inspiration and role model in stand-up and he even had the same work ethic as George. George was really good friends with Joe Pesci before he died, (he even said in one of his stand ups that he prays to Joe Pesci instead of God), and probably thats another reason why Louie wanted him in the show. (and probably why Joe thought Louie was crap lol)
It's crazy how much better this interview was than the one on The Tonight Show
not to defend Fallon, but Louie and Conan have been friends for almost 30 years. Louie was ready to quit comedy when everybody working at a club except him got hired to SNL. Luckily, Robert Smigel (Triumph) asked him to write for Conan's new Late Night show and the rest is history.
+IVIegadude holy cow I had no idea that Louis wrote for Conan! that's so cool !
+diegosam2010 You can see a picture of Conans original writing staff and Louie Is there. They talk about it in another video.
I'm so glad Louis didn't get SNL, I feel like his career wouldn't have been anywhere as good had he.
+Strasiloo Watch the video Louis CK on Conan Best Bits Compilation. The funniest interviews in the history of late night shows.
"You DON'T think I'm funny how?"- what Louis C.K. should have said to Joe.
Because "Eight Heads in a Duffle Bag," "With Honors," "The Super" and "Gone Fishin'" were such gems....
+Tenderfoot Prepper Louis doesn't need you to defend him by trashing an actor who's (better) films will be seen by your great grand kids.
Louis appreciates your support.
+Tenderfoot Prepper The Snickers commercial is defensible since he probably got paid a lot for a few hours of work, but the movies you listed are not. Especially With Honors and 8 heads.... Those were flat out awful and never were going to be any good.
+Verty not just goodfellas, he's got raging bull and casino which are both classics as well he will be fine.
+MickyAvStickyHands whose*
This is such perfectly crafted self deprecating humor. You almost don't even realize that's what it is
He told me I suck, he said my father sucks, he said I come from a whole family of suckers!
That's how Joe would have phrased it^
Is it weird that i want to be roasted by Joe Pesci? :/
+Bryan Minaya what do you mean roasted....roasted..how?
+crojonphoenix he means "fucked"
+crojonphoenix Watch Jeff Ross, the roastmaster
Polish Hussar bitch!, that hideous horrendous monstrosity of a man, isn't the roast master. Greg Giraldo was.. r.i.p.
Randhy He is a big boy, he can answer him self.. roasted how? you want him to amuse you? ...what?
at least Louis didn't ask him to go get his shoeshine box. THAT could have gotten ugly REAL quick.
YESSSS MORE LCK ON CONAN!!!!!! :D Now just get Bill Burr on again and I will love you forever.
Eh, comedy's very *subjective* after all.
Louis CK is pretty "modern" in terms of comedy. I honestly don't blame an "old-timer" like Pesci for not liking his comedy.
+Paradox Acres henny youngman was in goodfellas and don rickles and alan king in casino
+Paradox Acres I can get that, but he's still the funniest US comedian at the moment for me.
yes to me Louie CK is just the best
Aziz Head I can't laugh at his jokes, so no, not for me.
+meh hasn't seen a lot of comedians.
Louis' timing is always freaking marvelous, he gets a laugh out of me for even the most mundane things! Lol
1:39 -- first time I've ever heard Conan curse, and I've been a fan for over 20 years.
BRYAN351 I don't want TV as much as I did back in the day. I watched so much of him when he did Late Night (the greatest late night talk show of all time), and he didn't do it once, so it's so weird, after all this time, to hear it.
BRYAN351 Right!?
Louis be like: "You think I'm not funny? Not funny how? Not funny like a clown? I don't amuse you? I won't make you laugh?"
now i'm kinda wondering what set joe saw of louis that convinced him that he was "just starting out" after 30 years of experience lol
That story brought to mind one about Johnny Cash giving career advice to Roy Orbison.
Supposedly, Johnny told Roy he might have a shot at success in the music business if he stopped singing in such high registers.
Two of best comedians in my favorite list!
Marc Maron's podcast with Louie is amazing! You should check that to get a complete story of the making of Horace and Pete! ;)
Dimitri Bitu There's really nothing to add.
Joe knew about those rumors lmao
Everyone knows he likes sea oh sea kay
Louis CK I loveeee everything u do! you are my favorite comedian... thank you for making me laugh and change my day bc im surrounded by ass holes on a daily basis lol not even kidding.... u are amazing i hope i can see u live someday if i have the money.
I can actually hear Joe's voice saying all this lolololol
Hahaha That was gold.
"Shitty" not censored. I like it.
tellin' it like it is
He gave it all away
This is one of the best story in comedy, ever
Not nice-guy, wise guy Louis....wise-guy
I wonder if Joe knows the rest of the ice fishing story.
Definitely not the way he's been acting
Joe Pesci hasn't seen his Conan videos I'm assuming.
+Ambar Sharma i'm assuming from this video that joe pesci probably doesn't even know who conan is
0:27 very useful remark. I'd never have thought of it that way
I was think about this while watching the irishman haha
Did he ask him if he thinks he's funny?
+Vincent Knight He told him he's a funny guy.
+Vincent Knight What, like clown funny? Like he's here to amuse you? Is that how he's funny, ehh?!
ahh Good ol' Joe Pesci, he is a goodfella
I see what you did there
"The show isn't that dark"
lol
1:13 Great Norm Mcdonald impressions.
Louis CK really makes Joe Pesci come alive I can totally see him saying all of it.
Pesci's from the 'set-up and funny punchline' days of comedy, not the current 'make long winding observations on middle age and parenting and maybe some of it will be funny' form of comedy.
"Take my wife- please!"
+sammy boy "I take my wife everywhere, but she finds her way home."
+sammy boy The most efficient joke ever told. Three word set up, one word punchline.
mightisright Henny Youngman was an OG
+Rolling Ormond WORD!!!
Pesci and ck would be a legendary duo
Joe's waiting on that Home Alone 3 call, ya know...quality...
Won't do "Horace and Pete", but will do a Snickers commercial...
Joe Pesci everyone...
Haha, just goes to show that you can't please everybody, so just please yourself.
Exceptionnal
I was wondering what the connection was when I saw Joe Pesci in the list of names thanked during the credits of Horace & Pete...interesting story
telling Louis to quit stand-up is like telling Lebron to quit bball..
never quit stand up louie, please get a new album done!
The TBS intro jingle sounds exactly like a clip from Walk on the Wild Side by Lou Reed.
The biggest compliment you can get.@3:27
I haven't seen the show yet, but if it had Joe Pesci in it I would have been watching from day 1.
joe pesci is living legend
Honesty, Is Always, The Best Policy : 0 )
“ahh i’m not in Louie” 😂😂
Little Joe Sure Can... roast.
i miss louie
I miss pulling glass shards out of my urethra
Classic!
Stupendous story. Joe Pesci would’ve been cool, but Alan Alda really shined in that role.
I'd like to assume, since Louis said they've become pals, that Joe realizes Louis is actually an incredibly successful comedian now
Joe Pesci is a funny guy.
+Pepper Potts funny how?
+Freddy Montealegre like a clown
+Charly85
so he is there to amuse you, huh?
We had a funny guy with us in Korea. Tailgunner. They blew his brains out all over the Pacific. Nothin funny about that.
"First of all, I'm not getting my shine box"
I like how all the comments are good fellas jokes
Good ol days, we'll probably never see this guy on tv anymore
Good.
Well to be fair,if Joe Pesci saw footage of Louis CK from before like 2005, he's kinda right. Louis only became hilaaarious about that time
like who would not love louis comedy i mean COME ON!!!
watching this leads to watching 3 hour long supercut of joe pesci doin what he does best
I've got to admire Joe's honesty, not that many people are that honest, and so what if Louis isn't his brand of comedy either. Least Joe wasn't afraid to say what he thinks. He's that one friend you can go to to get some harsh reality
"It was my privilege, thank you".
Joe didnt knock about.
The lesson we learn: Do your thing and don't give a f...k about the opinion of others. Not even about Joe Pesci's.
didn't louis sexually harass several women
Lol I feel like Louis' acting is worse unless its him re-enacting a memory and its very genuine.
I feel the same way about Alan Alda... he's brilliant. And in Horace and Pete he's at his BEST.
I wonder who talked Pesci into doing home alone
wow id love to watch him show up on louie later and just picking on louis cosntantly
conan is brilliant
This is why Conan is the best
Keep in mind, Joe Pesci also thought leaving acting to focus on a "singing" career was a good idea. And he also was bummed that he didn't get to star as one of the characters in 2018's Gotti film, so much so that he was hesitant and rejected several offers to do Scorsese's The Irishman.
So, can you really trust that opinion?
To be fair, when Pesci was cast in Gotti the entire production was entirely different. It was in like 2012, six years before the film was actually made, and by different people than the ones that were gonna be involved originally.
How did nobody laugh at the "Dalai Lama" joke by Conan
No one going to mention the uncomfortable amount of cuff that Louis is showing? I saw it and now I can't unsee it
3:41 "... so he just decided not to do it." Can I have a transcript of what he says afterwards?
Did Conan say, "He's really shitty if he's batting 100"?
1:38
+BuffDemigod Yeah.
+BuffDemigod He did indeed lol
+BuffDemigod 100 is a pretty shitty batting average, or does he never swear or something
+Double G He does not , especially like that.
+BuffDemigod Thank you for pointing that out , made me laugh. Plus all my neighbors probably think I'm nuts because I just shouted kinda loudly , "CONAN O'BRIEN SAID SHITTY ON TV! " and then cackled for like 2 minutes :P :D
That shows one thing: no matter who you are and no matter who's telling you that you won't succeed in your dreams, you just can. Always. Look at Louis' eyes: he knows what he loves the most and what he lives for - comedy, in its rawest essence. He passed throughout 30 years of not being famous and rich. He could've left. He never did. That makes him an example of what working hard and believing and yourself could do. No matter who's telling you that you won't make it - prove them wrong. That is what I am living for: prove them wrong. Thank you, Louie, if you’ll ever going to read this.
But he raped women?
I remember Louis telling this story. As you watch the credits from Horace and Pete, Joe Pesci gets a thanks. I thought that is nice.
He needs to keep his calender open just in case they greenlight Gone Fishin' 2
Gotta love Joe Pesci. Such a funny guy.
Funny how?
You know....funny. Like, he's a funny guy.
Well if that isn't the most Joe Pesci-ish story of Joe Pesci there was.
After seeing Alan Alda in this, I can’t imagine Joe Pesci doing it. Alan killed it.
Louis is such a cool guy.
+Ahsan Zaman He did take it a lot better than some of his butt hurt fans on here, thats for sure.
