Former acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker warned Russia is "trying to interfere in 2020" during remarks at the Oxford Union in the UK on Friday, remarks that came after it was revealed that a Capitol Hill briefing on Russia's continued election interference had angered President Donald Trump.
CNN has obtained a recording of Whitaker's remarks. Whitaker, who replaced Attorney General Jeff Sessions, told the audience at Oxford that law enforcement officials at the Justice Department and the FBI were constantly on guard against the Russian threat to US elections.

The only spinning being done was by the congressman he kept stopping Whitaker from completing a statement. And then had a hissy fit. The only spinning was by the congressman. He laid out a whole bunch of unsubstantiated innuendo for the cameras and wouldn't let Whitaker address his attacks

Three quarters of the American people back Trump, and his wall. Thats according to a CBS poll. CBS is not known for being a Trump supporter. Try with all their might, Democrats haven't been able to cover up Hillary Clinton's crimes, or FBI malfeasance. The fact that the Obama administration used US intelligence agencies to gather opposition research for Hillary Clinton, and the DNC is widely known. Christopher Steele testified to those facts in a London Court last month. These pointless investigations, and endless hearings are not going to make up for that, or for the fact that Democrats lack a real agenda. This is a waste of both time, and money. Open borders, and infanticide are not policies either, those are crimes. The Democratic party has lost its mind. They are sowing the wind. Mueller is merely lining his pockets, while the Democrats waste taxpayer funds. Its all going to come out. That's why Whitaker is acting so cocky. He already knows Mueller's findings. So do the presenters on TV. They have already warned you that the findings are going to be anti-climatic. (I hope you know the meaning of the word) The Democrats already know the findings as well. Thats why they are working to drum up more phoney investigations. They have known the truth for months. What they don't understand is that Americans are going to see this for what it is. After having had Mueller appointed, they now refuse to abide by his findings, because they weren't trying to investigate anything. They were trying to bring down the President of the United States, and that amounts to more than harassment. That is proof of sedition. That's proof of an attempted coup against the United States. Wait until the American people figure out that the Democrats aren't offering anything but shutdowns, and endless investigations. They couldn't govern a daycare center.
