This is funny.. never would have thought of this category. Also you're the only entry on speedrun site? How does the Quicksave glitch work? Where and how do you move there and how do you know where the game will place you? I don't find anything related to this glitch via Google and I would really like to know how this exactly works.
@@PinkP0nyPr0ducti0n5 That glitch is too complex to fully explain here on TH-cam. I'll give you the short version now, for the long version you'll have to drop by the Oddworld Speedrunning Discord. Basically what happens is we hit quickload and quicksave at the same time. This corrupts the save file and takes all the game state and progress from the previous save, but abe's coordinates of the new save. This can let you get the camera off screen, which can despawn objects like barricades or mines. If you do this trick while the previous save is on a different map it gets crazier, because what map you are on is not "part of abe's coordinates". This means the game will take the *previous* map and apply the *current* coordinates, which means you effectively teleport to a weird location. If you want to know where you'll end up you'll have to know the exact coordinate system of each map, and to get that information we use a level editor.
@creepykoala7255 Thank you, it must be very complicated to get this right, might explain why it's not always a first try. Can you do it between levels? Also: 49:42 what the f happened there with the grenade throw?
