The software did it for him. Code is there, it's just not manually written out (which would be so old school).

These videos and the platform are great. Quick question. How is a game over scene manually set? Setting the bounds, buttons on the input screen and with game over delay is set to 1, does not seem to be enough?

When you use Buildbox, you are not just editing someone else's code. When you build your game, the software is coding it for you, and it exports raw code. So if you look at the code base for Color Switch and The Line Zen, they will be completely different.
this game has no coding! its like a game that allows you to make custom levels!

Why unnecessarily make it harder for yourself when you have the presets right there? You can always adjust it later if the program allows it.

i think people must learn there a something called game designer or level designer or etc... that design the game itself. Build the world you to live in it. They dont have to care how a object move or how a door open. All they have to know that door gonna open and he/she can put it door to anywhere so you can open it.
Scratch is a programming website that's completely free and even easier to use. Plus you can also publish and see other published games, too.
The downside is, you can't publish anything violent, scary or inappropriate since most of the community are children and young teenagers.
And it's not a download.

You just made Flappy Bird in a Flappy Bird making program. I can make a FPS in 5 seconds by opening Unreal Engine and picking the FPS template.

I mean, it's not the worst software in the world, but I doubt people will be making amazing games with it. This program would most likely have more use in an educational environment. Perhaps for teaching 10-12 year olds about making games without having to teach them how to code or make assets. I doubt anyone will be making famous games with this software, but perhaps there may be some decent games made with it, assuming the software can do more than just apply preset code onto preset sprites... ;-)

Making a game is tons harder than that. Where's the code, How'd you make it regenerate, how did you make the enemy state. I like to make video games, but I should know, this is NOT how you make a game. There's alot more to do.
Lightt Strike those assets defenitely took more than a minute to make, and even if you don't take that into account, they cheated and slowed down the timer at the last few seconds.

hi Build box ! I want to expand the assets library or add new library . How to do it ?
So currently you cannot add new assets to the asset library. You can only keep your own assets in the objects panel. We are aware this feature would make quality of life for users so much better and are in the process of possibly adding it. Thank you for your feedback!

ok. all he did was place pre-programmed objects. He didn't have to draw any of the objects, make any of the hit boxes, or create the animations and how to trigger them. programming a real flappy bird isn't hard, but it takes a lot more work than this.
