Team Brackeys you guys can just make a complete game!.we would love to check it out..u can make it a commercial success considering the amount of talent you guys contain.
it surprises me that if I did not watch this video 8 months ago I would have thought Unity was too hard but now because of it I even have a TH-cam channel based off of it!
You’re really cool bro. Me and my partner is trying to make a game that’s change the world so we are learning from scratch.
You explain everything so concisely, easy to understand and to the point!!
I recommend watching at 0.75 speed, a phenomenal tutorial for beginners, no doubt
Thanks can you tell me that can we create in Mobile and also please tell it is showing file not open after downloading unity engine what should I do🙁
WHO'S starting this in 2023 ?! Let's do this fam.❤
2024 but let's do this
Same
Brackeys: "Unity rarely changes things dramatically"
one year later
Unity: "We're gonna change things dramatically"
See way back in 2016 I was like "lets make a game" then I gave up after a week. Now quarantine has me "Lets make a game" and everything's all fucked up. #ThanksUnity
U can just install the same version as his and that's it : unity3d.com/unity/whats-new/unity-5.5.0
This legit let me to laught out way to loud
Thanks man
@@bogdan700 the setup is 406 mb and there is no microsoft studio on your link .... HELP!!
I am using the latest unity 2019 LTS build Its literally the same just some more futures I haven't tried the 2020 build tho since its buggy for me
6 years later yet you are still helpful
Very true
You are great at teaching! It was so simple to understand
Im glad he makes videos that you can do without pro, not everyone does
pro doesn't really add much
This is the year! 2020, my New Year proposition is to finally start making games!
Same!
Same here. Let's get this money, fam.
Same let's do this!
Same!
Yes
I love how straight to the point these videos are, its great
Me: Let's continue working on my game
Unity: haha new update go brrr
Hey wdym?
What's the problem?
disable auto update
MILK GAAANG!!!
Brackeys is one of the few awesome youtubers that reply to suscriber comments :)
1:30 for the start of the tutorial (skip the downloading part)
thanks man.
I'm totally new at this and had no clue how to start... weeks have passed and I feared I might have given up... but this video sparked my interest again and now I've made my first ground and character... :D
can't wait to get back home from work and continue making my first game with your help, thanks a lot for these vids
good luck!
You're really good at this sir. It's so easy to understand.
Hope that will help :) th-cam.com/video/p9EETV1aq54/w-d-xo.html
I need the paid version. My eyes are burning away!
Tiemow XD, that's were they get you.
thats why you lower your brightness
Just use night mode on ur monitor
There's a really easy way to get the dark version in the free edition, I did it without even firing up Unity for the first time ... I can't work on anything with a light background. Just search for "Unity Dark Theme Free" on TH-cam and you'll find it ;)
Thats an interesting profile pic...
I feel like he is doing this on an easier difficulty than the rest of us
Gonna try to learn Unity! Watching Sam Hogans videos where he creates games with unity are a big inspiration.
Nice. I have called my game "red and green block falling simulator"
I just got a unity ad!
I SWEAR TO GOD!
ME TOO!!!
it does that on purpose
Me too

sameeee
Me: Waits 3 hrs for unity to download
Unity: Let's do that again
_LATER_
Me: Finally new project
Unity: Unity busy for 1:00:00
_LATER AGAIN_
Unity: could not establish a connection with Unity Package manager
Me: Retry
Unity: Try again tomorrow my dude
Me: *raging Just work
im waiting for it right now :(
Me: made a cube
this took 3 weeks
I feel u bro. But why unity like that anyway, I can't download my console type cause it takes 1hour to get to 30percent and it den says couldn't download or something, but still takes about 1gb worth data
My pc and monitors are actually ultra good, so that's why mines loaded fast. How did I foget.
I started coding about a month ago with this video. I came back to refresh my memory.
thank you so much for helping just started learning some basics and by watching ur tutorial it was pretty fun learning it please create more like this. :)
I really like your tutorials.
The Celestial Coder me za to
I'm learning this so i could make my very own 3D Waluigi game
Hi I would like to collaborate with you for your 3D Waluigi Game
Thank you for these videos. Your voice soothes out the anxiety of learning a new skill.
when i got the physics working my mind exploded and it was the happiest day of my life
Brackeys
"Unity rarely changes things that dramatically."
Unity "Let's remove standard assets, the asset store, mono develop support, change post-processing drastically, and add a package manager.
All in the course of 2018.2 to 2020.1"
Me using unity 2020.1 to make my game "Why the in the damned hell did you change so much unity you were fine before"
Unity "FU new developer's newt we will remove the test game butten"
I have a old crappy computer in 32bit ,using 5.6 unity and still can follow up in almost any vids😂😂
Happy to have a shitty computer
@@troy1993 sorry man you will have to download unity 5 from the unity archives to fix that but you will also have to restart the full project because unity hates backward compatibility
Standard assets have not been removed or the asset store, mono develop is just a bad version of visual studio which comes with it now, if you want the asset store just go to the asset store window in the open window menu and standard assets can be purchased for free from the asset store
At least unity did not remove access to older versions... for now
I'm early, and brackeys, you should make a series on c sharp basics and how to do viewer suggested commands that they need. One that I need is a variable that can cross between multiple scripts. Third by the way.
Like a public variable?
And he already has a C# basics series
just use ''public''
ProCreeper 2000 actually you should use static variables only if you are sure that the class it's in is always the only instance of itself. Rather use public and link the script
ProCreeper 2000 am I thinking your name is a bit too...childish...
My friend, this video was made a long time ago, but ChatGPT recommended me your channel and I came to take a look. However, I couldn't be prepared for this level of quality. Thank you!
LETS GO I CREATED MY FIRST EVER RED CUBE... wait what
congratulation..now tri to make GTA 5
@@MrPreetjee This isn't even funny since GTA V is project made by few hundred people, and the fact that it isn't even made in Unity.

Your having Saturday school to learn sarcasm
@@harveythompson4198 I know that it's sarcasm, but I just didn't find it funny at all. Tryharders like this guy are annoying to me.

Mad respect to game designers....this is crap and it still overwhelmed me
Pardon me, But could you tell me if the tutorial still valid after almost 3 years?
@@ammgnero Ima try and see
@@chientranhvoitoi8820 Well, i've tried it and the tutorial is actually very nice and valid, It might actually be the best tutorial on TH-cam. You should start from here.
@@ammgnero Ok thx!
*try me*
just finished learning c# from a fine gentleman called Mike Dane and I'm going to start here
Tutorial still in fact is wonderful and completely working in 2022 just completed it there were a couple syntax differences but the comments of each video can help you out with that if you are confused
What do you do when it says there's no license activated
thanks sir it help me very much to be a game devloper

Hope your game is going good and your having fun!
Thank you a lot, guys!
God bless you
Hope that will help :) th-cam.com/video/p9EETV1aq54/w-d-xo.html
thanks a lot man. watching thisinspires me to do something productive
it's actually useful instead of showing you how to code or how to make a specific game it shows you how to code and use with/in unity. you deserve the sub
Bruh his channel is just surviving his fade from TH-cam. I think your sub will be just a shortcut to his videos :)
Who is doing this in 2024?
