The hoses should definitely be swapped on this video. The long hose goes to the In port furthest from the engine and the short hose goes to the out port closest to the engine. That is why in the video he says "its a tight fit" when trying to connect the shorter more straight hose. The long hose is already bent to fit in the port easier
Looking through customer photos of this install indicates this video has the correct routing. Unless of course, everyone is installing these wrong and you are right.
This is how not to install a catch can. Do your research folks, know how the can works and where to hook up your hoses. Don't just do it because someone on youtube said so. Oh and pls dont use teflon tape.
Oddly, the factory instructions call for the Teflon tape in addition to the o ring...it was not Adam's "idea." One of the best investments I've made on my 17 Rebel. At 300 miles there was already waste oil build up.
The first hose went to the back of the engine isnt there like a sensor or somthin in that black box where you plugged the hose . You unscrew it with your had and pull it up forget what the name is I need to known

I saw that and was like ya, who needs an o ring anyways 😂
he has the hoses going to the wrong ports. the short hose should go to the out port and the long hose should go to the in port on the catch can.
PVC in or out which Port does it go to?
Descent video but you don't use Teflon tape on o-ring fittings
Will it void Ram vehicle warranty?
How often is it emptied?
Is a catch can recommended for a 2019 ram 1500 V6? I see them all the time for older rams or 5.7 hemi's. Thanks.
