Sorry to hear! So you have 2020 SE Hatchback with oem front bumper? Or SE Sedan? Either way, the bumper itself has several grooves and attachment points along the edge, (where the top bumper meets the bottom headlamps) that are designed to snap into the headlight brackets. So if you have areas where the bumper is popping out, check and make sure 1) Bumper mounting points not damaged 2) Headlight brackets have not been damaged (all tabs in place) But yea ultimately everything should just snap in and you should hear audible clicks. Do you have any photos so I can see?

Thank you and congrats!!! As far as modding goes, do only things that you want to do! And if you're not sure, just check with your dealer for clarification. The warranty covers typically the engine and drivetrain, so as long as you are not tampering with engine (aftermarket tune) or transmission. I recommend sticking to mainly with aesthetic mods until your warranty is up! By the time warranty is up you can go all out! haha. What about the fender liners? Sorry if i missed it but do i need the sedan fender liners for this bumper? Or can i get away with using the normal hatchback liners? Thanks!
yea, I dont recall having any issues with fender liners😅
Lol when you got in the car. It's actually hard to get in and out of that hatchback

@@FujiboHeavy amazing work.
Did this to my car and the sensor gives me a pre collision light any ideas why?
not sure. Usually when I would get the light its because I forgot to connect connector to the radar sensor
Idk it’s stressing me out, does the sensor have the be perfectly straight mines zip tied I don’t know if that’s the problem?
@@jonathanalvarado449 as long as its connected it should work fine. Was it working fine then came on later? or has it always been on since the swap?
It was fine until the swap. It happened as soon as I turned on my car to.

@@FujiboHeavydoes the corola sedan APEX front bumper swap over just as easy?
@@sac3152 I cant say 100% sure, but it should because the headlight design is the same and should utilize the same headlight support brackets for the bumper to snap into
I have a question regarding attaching the side portion of the Bumper cover, Are there retaining clips or brackets that are molded to the cover? or is it some sort of setup Im not aware of. I purchased a 2020 SE and the front bumper cover is sagging. Before I rip it off and venture on this journey by myself, I want to know what i'm getting myself into.
any help can be appreciated!!!
@@FujiboHeavy I'll take some pictures tomorrow and send them to your email, but it's an SE Sedan. From what it looks like and what you're telling me, it seems to me that those attachement points have broken, but i'm not entirely certain.
._.
damn.
@@Highlander2475 sounds good! I will keep a lookout!
Hey i know this is a very late comment but i was wondering if you have had any differences with your radar features (like radar cruise and what not) also do you think messing with/modifying the sensors location going to void factory warranty? anyways thank you and yours looks sick!!! just got my black xse hatch tryna put a apex bumper on it.
very nice! Im actually not sure if it will void warranty. Unless whatever breaks was directly related to you relocating the sensor. In my opinion as long as the original sensor is still plugged in and mounted to where the sensor would normally be, it wouldnt be an issue. But I am not 100% sure
Also if I have the le and I don’t have fog lights connectors can I still have the fog lights but connect them to the headlights or so ?
As long as you have a dedicated switch/fuse for the fog lamps it should work. However, I dont recommend splicing into oem headlight harness without advice from professional, since it could cause wiring to catch fire if not done correctly
@@FujiboHeavy ok thanks I will look into getting a switch for some fog lights cause the le don’t come with fog lights at all ! So maybe I have to see both doing it professionally wire to the headlights or etc
@@SloRolla252 ahh gotcha. Yea I had to also buy an aftermarket oem fog light kit with dedicated fuse/switch. Then I was able to splice the Hatch fog light commector to the SE Sedan front fog lights. However they probably offer kits of the SE sedan fog wiring kit with switch/fuse so you dont have to splice at all
@@FujiboHeavy yea in the kit it is a harness and all I think that could be the switch and fuse or so !
@@FujiboHeavy where you buy your kit from ?
where did you get that middle emblem for the for the front cover?
eBay! Just searched “Toyota” emblem and they have several styles and sizes! Just make sure to measure what size you want :) emblem ran me about $15 shipped. My specific emblem was 4-1/8” (103mm) in width
I have a 2020 XLE sedan. Does this bumper also fit the sedan?
@@brick9233 Im 90% sure they are interchangeable since they should use the same headlight brackets

I _just_ bought a 2022 Corolla XSE hatchback with the 6 speed manual _yesterday._
It had 7 miles on the odometer when I bought it, it's currently got 178 miles.
I wondered how good this car would look with the sedan front bumper, and holy shit I was right
Congrats!!! That’s a good feeling 🙂 yea it really is the best of both worlds 🥰🥰
@@FujiboHeavy that's cool you were able to do the swap yourself. I don't trust myself not to break one of those tabs, or to splice the wires correctly.
@@iraqifoodcart8447 yup! It’s pretty simple. All you need is a Philips head screw screw driver, and a ratchet with 10mm socket to remove the front bumper. Wire splicing is also not so bad. I just learned by watching several diy vids, then testing on my own. The internet is such a powerful resource. But the only way you will learn is to do/try it, and get reps in. The more you do it and understand, the less you will be afraid in the future 👍🏼

when I buy a corolla hatchback I wanna do this mod 😍
Nice!! It transforms the overall look of the car 👍🏼👍🏼
I love the video and the car looks great!! I was just curious about any warranty issues with the mods and swaps you’ve been doing to your corolla Hatchback. I just bought one new as my first new car and I want to start modding but I’m afraid I’m going to void a warranty.
By the time warranty is up you can go all out! haha. But harmless mods (assuming they are installed correctly) are suspension mods, and changing out the muffler/catback system. Do not recommend messing with OEM header

Looks awesome, there's a blue 1 that has done it here in LV, NV. but I wouldn't do it to my 2021 for 1 specific reason the the sedan fog lamps are SUPER weak VS hatchback fog lamps. As in i prefer more visible light. i wish they were brighter otherwise I'd do it but they ain't sooo oh well 🤷

How're you going to purchase the bumper from dealer? Are they gonna ask for proof of ownership or something
Nope. They will probably ask you to provide a vin number to prevent you from ordering wrong part for your car, but other than that , as long as you have a valid part number, and confirm that with dealer it’s the 2020+ sedan se front bumper cover. If you’re ordering from the parts dept in person they can physically show the diagram of the part on their computer screen if needed as well

Why would you waste your money on getting the sedan front bumper? The hatchback front bumper is hella nicer than the sedans....
Lol simple. I personally love/prefer the aggressive styling of the sedan bumper. It’s definitely not for everyone, but it’s an option for anyone that’s wants a unique look. Plus styling and preferences is 100% subjective. Everyone works hard for their money, and people can do whatever they want with their own money. It’s a waste of money in your eyes, but worth every single penny in mine. So to each their own. Thanks for the feedback tho!
