- Train spotting at BWI Thurgood Marshall rail station. Many varieties operating along the Northeast corridor ranging from the AEM-7s to it's successors the ACS Sprinters. Including one retired AEM-7 given to MARC as a hand-me-down. Three of MARC's Bombardier Multilevel carriages on the express tripper. Two Acela Express trains heading to Boston, Massachusetts. This was during evening peak-hour, so plenty of airplanes were taking-off and taxiing into Runway 15.

It is such a fun to observe plane and rail at the same time.
sehr interessanter Zugverkehr und Züge
Interesting to see a Marc train pulled by an Amtrak loco
It's actually pretty common to see them. They just rent them out.
They are now pulled by the new Amtrak ACS-64's which were introduced in 2015 so fairly new.
@@blueridgerails7779 MARC is getting ACS-64s of their own to replace the HHP-8s as they are retired. (They have one SC-44 Charger in use on the Brunswick Line right now.)
It’s mainly cause Marc and Amtrak have a very tight relationship as Amtrak operatives the penn line.
It's interesting how small the cars in the trains, until they pull into the station, then u see their actual size. This is so relaxing. Can't travel because of covid19; but it don't hurt to pretend 😉❤
I have not been able to travel, either - but MARC's Penn Line (which overlays the NEC) was my route when I did.
Awesome video!
I was at this station last Saturday.
Great video i'm sure to check out more of your videos
+amtrak and csx/marc fan fisher man Thanks
9:50 my fav horn in the vid
Very nice!
+ALP Train Videos - CSX trains, Amtrak Trains, NS trains and more. Thanks.
Sweet
914 has a rust spot in the same place as 920. That's weird.
Oh another HHP-8?
Is this good spot to catch Acelas speeding by?
+Archivist2001 Yes but an even better spot is Odenton or Bowie. I'll prefer Odenton since it's more clam and quiet to listen in on the sediment and foundation vibrating.
Another good location is Halethorpe.
@@calebtrains2261 - Two others (closer to DC) are Seabrook and College Park/University of Maryland. All are MARC stations - but they therefore don't have the security woes that New Carrolton, Union Station, or Baltimore Penn Station do.
@@MJofLakelandX Actually, Seabrook (or College Park-University of Maryland, or even Bowie State University) are even better.
do more videos full line not observations
Trust me, I will. The Penn Line will probably be the first; Camden Line will follow, and lastly the Brunswick Line.
