- ‣‣ El "Tren Urbano", como parte del territorio de Puerto Rico y de los gobiernos de Estados Unidos a largo contemplar estudio del sistema de tránsito rápido de cuarenta años en la toma de la altura de su servicio inaugural el 17 de diciembre de 2004. Tren Urbano enlaza los tres municipios de San Juan, Guaynabo, y Bayamón a través de un subterráneo, y al nivel de grado derecho de paso-aérea, exclusiva. Actualmente, sólo existe una línea después de más de diez años de estar en servicio, pero más se va a agregar al tren rápido en las próximas décadas para dar la metropolitana de San Juan una red ferroviaria muy necesario. Más bien se ampliaciones de Santurce y el Viejo San Juan planeado; al aeropuerto Luis Muñoz Marín y el municipio de Carolina o la propuesta de un servicio rápido independiente más grande conectar los municipios de San Juan y Caguas con una similitud de trenes de cercanías, por primera vez desde todos los ferrocarriles en toda la isla se agotaron en la segunda cuarto del siglo XX, para dar paso a las carreteras de automóviles.
Los trenes son propulsados por una corriente directa tercer carril electrificación pista justo por encima y al lado (s) del ancho de vía. La línea es menos de once millas de longitud que conecta dieciséis estaciones y el tiempo para llegar a la cantidad de extremo a extremo es entre 25-30 minutos para completar. Muchos medios de transporte de pasajeros de propiedad del gobierno naturaleza privada o municipales más acompañan, si no, todas las estaciones con el ser más grande, el Tansportation Alternativa Integrada o "ATi" pero tremendamente renombre como, "AMA Transporte Urbano".
‣‣ The "Tren Urbano" as part of the territory of Puerto Rico and U.S. governments long behold rapid transit system study forty years in the making up to it's inaugural service on December 17, 2004. Tren Urbano links the three municipalities of San Juan, Guaynabo, and Bayamon through an aerial, underground, and at grade-level exclusive right-of-way. Currently, only one line exists after more ten years of being in service but more is to be added to rapid rail in the coming decades to give the metropolitan of San Juan a greatly needed rail network. Rather it's planned extensions to Santurce and Old San Juan; to Luis Munoz Marin Airport and the municipality of Carolina or the proposal for a larger, seperate rapid service connect the municipalities of San Juan and Caguas with a commuter rail similarity, for the first time since all railways throughout the island were depleted within the second-quarter of the twentieth century to make way for automobile roadways.
The trains are propelled by a direct-current third rail electrification track just above and to the side(s) of the track gauge. The line is less than eleven miles in length connecting to sixteen stations and the amount time to reach end-to-end is between 25-30 minutes to complete. Many privately- or municipal government-owned passenger transports accompany most, if not, all of the stations with the largest being, the Integrated Alternative Tansportation or "ATi" but wildly renown as, "AMA Urban Transport".

I never knew there were trains in PR.....i was born there and I just found out
This train system wasn't build that long ago, however we had a train system dating back to the 1800s build by Spaniards, when P.R. belong to spain, build before the Spanish American war, It wasn't till the mid - late 50s that it stopped running, it ran all around the coast of P.R., It was done away by the then governor Luis Munoz Marin.

San Juan and other municipalities that form the Metropolitan Area such as Guaynabo and Bayamón that is not San Juan. That is what we call Metropolitan Area... The entire San Juan farther than Old San Juan and few more othes municipalities. All that is the unknown part of the big city.

El tren Urbano fue construido en su majoria, incluyendo los vehicles por SIEMENS AG y manejado por Alternative Concepts Inc (ACI).
Fundado por Gobierno Federal de los Estados Unidos de America.
Es verdad que otras compañías y entidades tuvieron parte en algunas fases de construcción por ejemplo profesionales eléctricos profesionales en rieles y otros con tractores de acero y cemento pero la mayoría la construcción fue por siemens y Trabajadores estadounidenses de Puerto Rico y los Estados.
@@larroyo1973 los federales pusieron una cuarta parte de los fondos, ese tren se construyó con dinero de DTOP.

No. En horas de entrada y salida de trabajo, no lo está... Se usa para ir al trabajo, ir a las universidades y hacer gestiones. No para pasear. Quizás ahora con la pandemia lo esté un poco.

Puerto Rico is bankrupt and in terrible debt. This, as well as the autopistas, etc, were built w money that was really never there, like out of control with no restraint credit card spending, where there is no money to pay up when the bill comes due. Is that really progress?
@The Great Warlord ABSOLUTELY IT IS MY BUSINESS!!! FEDERAL INCOME TAX, not paid by Puerto Rico, is what finances the welfare and just about all the infrastructure and so much more. You're probably contributing to the indebtedness and are personally indebted yourself, it sounds like, by the tone of your reply. Again, it is my business and the business of every U.S. citizen on the mainland bc we pay Federal Income taxes.
