The TH-cam algorithms favor channels that upload content every day. Making something totally new every day is very difficult. It's really an efficient decision to split the videos up like this. One project can now be used for two, three, four, however many videos. Frankly I kind of prefer this over waiting for one longer video. It feels more engaging and it allows him to go into more detail on each of the parts. Although from Grant's standpoint releasing parts of a project every day is probably a lot more tasking than just having one long video every week. But it sounds like he's got some help and is taking the change in stride.

But for people like me who just stumble upon the video and wanna see it it's kinda disappointing and it reduces the quality of the content quite a bit.

You should take a vinyl record and cast it in silicone, then pour epoxy or resin in the mold to see if it sounds the same

Turn the ADD down a notch. The build process was interesting. There's plenty of places to see stuff go boom.
He said around new years that he's going to start off with some simple short videos and finish off 2017 with big stuff. Personally, I think it's a pretty bad plan as he's going to spend half the year losing his subscribers. This isn't bad though. Yeah, he didn't post the video of using them (even though it's clearly already been recorded as per the clip from the start of this video), but I'm just glad it's not another vacuum chamber / silicone mould video.
As they said at the end, this video was the tutorial, next video will be the demonstration.

It isn't making counterfeit coins, it is making metal blanks, still illegal to use in machines, as it is theft, but noowhere near as bad as counterfeiting currency.
Roman Atwood has a machine that takes quarters. Grant could send the counterfeits to him to test so it would not be illegal.
It's better to have the primer slam forward then the nail slamming backwards during impact. Just think for a second.. What if the nail slammed backwards with enough force during the firing of the projectile from the launch tube?
There was a part of the cone which was solid so the nail had to pen through the plastic to get to the primer

As a kid I loved using black powder in my homemade rocket warheads. I always built them to detonate at the apogee which was usually so high that the rocket could no longer be seen. The black powder created a respectable report along with a large plume of white smoke. I went on to trying flour, a full can of dayglow orange spray paint, colored chalk line dust and a cup of gasoline. All made impressive displays in the sky. All that was in my teenage years nearly forty years ago.

Try putting cake batter in the vacuum chamber to see how it looks after you cook it
I agree with this, because i'm super curious to see how that would effect the cake well cooking. Because i'm imagine some rising and bubbles would form from water evaporating in the batter. But would you get like this dense cake (well cupcake) or would it not be very different compared to an unvacuumed on. After all mixing introduces a lot of air into the batter.
There's going to be baking powder in the cake mix, hence producing CO2 when it's baked and forming a fluffy bubble-filled cake. Make a cake from scratch sometime & leave out the baking powder - you get something like brownies instead. (Don't ask me how I know this... ;-) )
