Loving the videos! In the process of getting organized, as a single father of a 10 year old boy and taking care of my father. Can't wait to try this recipe and hear my son say "Wow! You made hamburger buns!" Thank you and God bless.

Its almost like the buns i use :) Havent bougt bread or buns or crackers since we bought our small farm. 98% of our food is made from scratch, but I still have to buy some fruit end herbs etc :) But - our veggies are from the farm + eggs, chickens and quails. Milk : we trade eggs for milk, and we also make our fresh cheeze . Its a blessing :) All the best from Norway

I just love you guys! I’m a single, 55 year old urban homesteader working toward self-sufficiency. It’s a lot harder as a single woman and so much of what you guys do is irrelevant in my situation but you remind me of my 25 years raising four kids. Your energy is enviable, I wish it were contagious!! Now if you could teach me how to make just two hamburger buns, that would be great. No freezer to store extras and I don’t imagine you can can or ferment bread dough. 😂

I'm making them today for anything-we-want buns! I doubled the recipe, they do freeze well but they rarely get to the freezer with 5 kids here, so we'll have buns for the AM. Thanks for posting again!

I’ve made Kevin’s artesian bread several times. It’s very easy and very delicious! I’ve also made your hamburger and hot dog buns and they were very delicious, as well. I made sub rolls using your hamburger recipe, too. I’ll try these this weekend for venison burgers. I really appreciate the time and effort it takes for y’all to make and share these videos. Thank you!

My grammy used to do this and freeze them before baking them. Then unthaw the dough when we needed the buns and bake them. We got to have fresh buns all the time. She would make large batches so we would have them in baggies and only take out what we needed to use. It was the best.

Let me start by saying, I have never made buns before... also with the help of google I divided all the measurements to 1/2 since I didn’t need that many. I started your recipe at 5:30pm, while the oven heated up and the buns rested I made/seasoned the burger patties by hand (organic ground beef). Popped the buns in the oven... started cooking the patties and before 6:30 PM... I had already stuffed my face lol!! The buns came out amazing. Thank you so much for your recipe.

Yummy!!! They turned out fantastic Sarah!!! I love, love, LOVE homemade bread!!! Growing up my mother used to make delicious homemade bread, rolls and cinnamon rolls, I also loved it the next day toasted with her strawberry jam!!! I don't know why but I myself never baked breads, probably because I was to busy working and raising my five children. However I did buy yeast on my last trip to the store, I was thinking of trying my hand at making some homemade bread or maybe your buns?? 😊

When yeast got scarce in stores I made a sourdough starter and have been baking with it since the covid shut down started. Great job in showing how to make these homemade in such a little time.
I also love ketchup on my burgers but, did you know that there is a ‘right’ technique for burger building ?
‘They’ say that the condiments such as ketchup, mustard, etc should be on the down side (under the burger), the cheese next to the meat on top, the lettuce and tomato, and then mayo on the top bun (to dress the lettuce and tomato).
I don’t always follow this rule but when I read it it made sense.
I love your videos. You’re a better woman than me.
I can barely feed and water the two dogs. You’re amazing.
