Hi, thanks for your kind words! By all means use Mulvey and the male gaze - it’s a really useful theory in relation to so many texts, and don’t feel limited to just those theories/theorists that are named on the specification. Good luck!

@@mrblandmedia sorry my teacher told me that postmodernism doesn’t come up for bridge and only peaky blinders so I’m kinda stressed now

Sorry for confusion. Your teacher is correct - it won't come up as a question in the sense that you will be explicitly be asked to evaluate the theory in relation the The Bridge. I posted this as an an explainer of the theory that I used with my own class more than anything. Nothing to stop you referring to the theory in relation to the Bridge - but your teacher is right, if it's named in a question on this section it will be a 15 marker about Peaky Blinders. Sorry for freaking you out!
