Excellent. This duet has been produced & edited in many publications. Given the period (Classical), they should be lightly detached regardless of editorial markings - which is how I played it. No doubt the editor of your edition included the staccato to ensure that. The original publication can be seen in imslp: imslp.org/wiki/Nouvelle_m%C3%A9thode_th%C3%A9orique_et_pratique_pour_la_fl%C3%BBte_(Devienne%2C_Fran%C3%A7ois). This duet is on page 35 of the complete book. It's a method book to study the flute.
Love the idea, and thanks for your effort. I tried to play along on my violin, but it did not work as the pitch was a bit sharp (I was at 440, and I'm guessing you were 442 or 444).
Congratulations for your work ! It's a deep joy to play along with you. I would like to encourage you to add new duets, if possible from telemann or quantz. Despite the pedagogical purpose of your videos, could you avoid using the metronome or use a lighter metronome for the sake of musicality in the future, please. Nonetheless, you are really doing a great job. I'm a fan !
I'm glad you like my duet series. In the new year, I will make sure to add more Telemann or Quantz. So far, I have 1 Telemann plus Bach & Boismortier for Baroque in the playlist. The metronome is pedagogical, but I can see about making it softer.

I'm afraid they are all tune as you go. In the more recent videos, I check with a tuner before recording, but not on camera.

The only thing is this is in cut time or double time (2/2) so the 8th notes would become 16 notes. Other wise good!
Yes, it is in cut time. However, I played it in 4/4 as a better learning tempo for students.
