      Sophia Xu If you are skinny and have no tummy in the morning but have a huge hard belly when the night comes - you 're bloated. Its very hard to confuse it with fat. Fat looks totally different and it's always there - morning or night, and also when you are fat and accumulate fat in that area, you have it on your lower back too. Whereas bloating is never on your lower back.

      Best way to tell: tighten your abdominal muscles, then poke your stomach, if you poke your fat (you will have fat, everyone does) and the squishiness stops abruptly and you feel hardness farther out than it should, you're bloated. If it helps look in the mirror from the side and poke your belly, if your belly is flat all the way down under your fat, you're not bloated. I had this problem of constant bloat, turns out it was a gluten intolerance, I stopped eating gluten, a week passed and my tummy wasn't bulging anymore. The most common cause of bloating is too much dairy, if you eat cheese a lot, drink milk a lot, and eat a lot of dairy products like cream cheese and butter, you will probably get bloated often. Try to eat less dairy, don't deprive yourself just don't gorge

      if you can't tell its probably fat.... bloating often comes and goes sometimes in a few hours some times it takes longer but if you notice fluctuations in your stomach size its bloating, if its always the same its fat

      Ronniechops yes! I live in a cold town in canada (siberian cold, mind you). We have summer for 3 months and the rest of the year we're all covered up so no one works out from september till june 😆

Finding real organic fruits and vegetables isn’t always possible, or affordable, because America likes to jack prices on food that only takes a few cents to grow and produce.🤷🏾‍♀️ I can afford to eat healthy but that’s because I don’t have a whole ass family. Also I wouldn’t eat any meat in America. It’s literally carcinogenic.

    I am envy of all the healthy eats that are available in Australia though. Because here in Texas it's hard to find. Texas is consumed with fried foods and tons of Mexican food. Thankfully I live near Austin to which caters to more healthy living but it's still a drive for me. Y'all are such an encouraging couple to watch when it comes to staying fit together. Love it.

      I feel you girl! Where I live the only way for me to stay healthy is by cooking all the time if you go out to eat it is almost impossible to find healthy foods!

      Susie Fumerelle well I can find healthy foods but we don't have acai bowl type of places everywhere. In Austin there is but it's a drive. So I make a lot of my own things. Where I live chicken fried steak and enchiladas a big staples which I love but recently went gluten free so I've changed a lot of my diet. But I love a good steak :)

      mangosmoothie if your backed up might I suggest making a pitcher of water with mint leaves lemons and cucumber let it sit in the fridge over night and the next day drink the water it's a detox water so it's not only flushing toxins out of your body it's well...u know lol that should help if you're looking for a natural solution

    hey sarah! i was wondering if you could maybe do a video about how you stay lean during your period? i always get extremely bloated no matter what i eat and how much water i drink and i also get pretty bad cramps so its hard for me to get any food down, so some tips might be really helpful! love you xo 💋

      Sarah K it means that you feel and look a lot bigger than you normally are, your stomach feels uncomfortable and sometimes even painful or gassy :)

      With bloating you feel fat. You could eat very little a few days beforehand then you just swell up big time. I can put on over half a stone. Get gassy and my stomach sticks out, feel very uncomfortable, get the same during middle of the month. Even if i take a diuretic, it doesn't get rid of the fluid. Joys!

    Fun fact: Your body adapts to your coffee intake. So ppl who drink coffee regularly don't dehydrate bc of it. :)And I have the same problem with the long distance relationship. I just can't take all the items I need regularly to my bf all the time, so it's more difficult for me to keep my routine when I'm with him.

    Do you ever put pieces of ginger in your morning lemon water? I do this all the time and it's great for digestion and flushing out all those toxins. Also oil pulling in the morning? Some people say it also helps them with portion control and I mostly do it to get rid of all toxins and for my teeth.

    Great video!! I suffer from bloating a lot, but have for the past two weeks been drinking 2-4 litres of water a day and that is helping, along with cutting sugar and salt as much as possible.

      Helen B This used to happen to me. Milk looks like curdled milk when it heats too fast. Try putting the milk in slowly and a bit at a time.

      jessica armstrong i understand your concern about your daughter's decreasing weight and how anxious that must make you feel. however, may i suggest that you don't attempt to increase your daughter's weight. trying to change/alter the body's natural homeostasis will only result in immense discomfort and tension. don't worry, your daughter's health is not being negatively impacted from this change in body weight, and she will soon grow into her new body type. if you are still worried, please go see a physician or a pediatrician to discuss your concerns.
      side note : peanut butter is probably not the way to prompt weight gain

    I'm literally always bloated and if the worst! I eat loads of fruits and a fair amount of veggies (probably lacking in the protein department since I'm pescatarian), but does anyone have any tips? I try and stay away from heavily processed foods and I don't eat fast food!

      I avoid processed foods, eat very small amounts of meat and consume lots of fruits and grains. In spite of that, I am bloated every single day!

    Hi sarah, I have been bloated 4 days now, and I don't wake up lean anymore. Today is my first day trying sooooooooo hard to reduce it. I plan on working out today, but I feel gross and slugish. I am taking your tips, but I don't feel any better. Any more advice. p.s. I am a vegan. I have also been drinking lemon water and avoiding bananas

      Miss Dani thank you very much!! It helps a lot since I'm trying to get a lot of feedback mainly of female crossfitters so thank you very much! But for example if I dont eat a paleo diet but I do restrict my carbs(eats practically none eventually a few) and drink about two glasses of dairy milk every day... do you thinks its okay? I also eat a lot of fruit(trying to reduce it tho)

    I’m skinny but I bloat a lot. I do look pregnant after a sip of water. I workout a lot and can feel my abs. But I still bloat easily and can’t seem to have a flat stomach. My bloated stomach doesn’t cause me any internal pain. What can I do?

      Do you eat a lot of salt? Track your food and if you're eating more than 2,500 mg of salt then you need to cut back. Between 1000 and 2000mgs of salt a day is ideal.

    So. All these health videos go on about "lemon water". Yes, lemon is amazing for the digestive system. However, do any of them know about how bad it is for your teeth? I have some amazingly horrific stories about what has happened to people who have used lemon every day.
    Seriously. Just drink water. No lemon, no apple cider vinegar. Unless you want your teeth to decay and possibly fracture after a few years

    double on the products that you use everyday, keep a set at each others house, makes things way easier ;) it also helps with forgetting essential things at home. also check your heavy metals index, you may be eating a bit too much fish

    I have a 1L bottle from typo, it has a straw in it so when I am sat at my computer I constantly drink from that and in no time at all is the bottle empty. It really helps me get my water in, I had 4L yesterday without even trying.

    Does anyone know what camera she uses?? I done looking through 50/50 reviews on cameras I don't know about and I can only trust the image quality of my fav TH-camrs and Sarah's are always such good quality.     Could you do a video on your gluten and dairy issues? I have the same thing and am having a hard time getting things under control. I also need to lose weight because I have GERD and and losing weight is the only way to lessen its symptoms, I could really do some tips!

    Do you think i could lose weight? I also started drinking 2 liters or more water everyday i only consume 600-900 calories a day i exercise for 10 min. 3-4 times a week i dont eat after 5 or 6 pm, but i eat very few vegetables, and fruits...please somebody tell me 😭

    Hey, Sarah! I have been watching your videos for a long time. It took me this long to say this(bcz I am such a lazy ass) but I just wanted to let you know, that you are a HUGE inspiration & motivation for me. I was never a fan of fad diets. Whenever I tried to loose weight I was mostly starving myself NOT thinking about nutrition & balanced diet at all. I was never eating Healthy. But YOU,my love & your amazing vilogs inspired me to start on it. And the more I ate Healthy the more I felt good, the more I wanted to work out & be active! It's been barely 3 months, now that I have started eating Healthy & I am already quite a few kilos lighter! :D :D So, I just wanted to THANK YOU from the bottom of My Heart! I love your upbeat personality & how surprisingly your videos make me crave Health foods instead of all the junk I used to eat! Thanks you SO MUCH & Please, Keep up the good work, cause I look forward to your videos every 3 days ;)

    Ok so first of all you're great, second of all please do a video all about maintaining muscle mass and mostly about lower abs and losing fat down in the lower abdomen. I have the top 4 abs but I can't seem to get the last two and I need them before my spring break!! So maybe just an informational video about all this stuff and also building a butt and what you recommend! It's ok if it's a long video, we could all watch you for hours. Thanks :)
