Now you know why we love our 66s Jim. And your`s is the dog`s nuts .Far more stuff on yours than ours . But you can do so much with them for a freight loco. And there`s so many recordings you can use . Nice one Jim P.S. I have 14 of them on my layout...LOL..
Hi Me Loardship , Wow 14 locos, mr60059 has 40.... no way....the best feature is the sound I could listen to the engine tick over and I could drift off into sleep its so relaxing..
Hi Jim, very good video of the best class 66 on the market, is the sound file on this superb loco the same as the free sound file you get on the ESU website? Like to see the German equivalent to the British sentinel model so Hornby can see how a superior manufacturer does it, also is the driver figure specially made for ESU like the Roco slewing crane figure is? Thanks for sharing.
@@StormmyStormmy it's probably the best loco I ever bought for features , sound quality, model engineering etc.. The sound file is the same file that's on the esu site but this is a heavily adjusted for all the sensors, smoke fan, heat gen etc on this model.
@@hovermotion I wish ESU would produce a smoke unit for 00 gauge locomotives so I can fit one in my Hornby W1 and use the Loksound V5’s, this class 66 is in a league of its own, proper engineering at its best.💎💯
Hi Jim Excellent loco accurascale release a class 66 with sound witch I've got 👌👌👌 Them sparks look great I could sit and listen to these class 66 all day long cheers for the video mate
@@hovermotion I mean when I was at a customers house they lived next to the a main line when we was, doing the windows spent more time looking at the 66 🤣🤣🤣 and nah I don't work in the rail industries want too though
@@brentleajunction Wow top one...I remember my dad's old garage in Ardwick ,when I was helping him work experience etc manny year's ago I would always run out to see the passing BR 37s 47s pulling the fully loaded hopper wagons it was amazing to see and hear the engines..
Hiya Jim . Firstly Welcome to the class 66 Club 🤣You do Know it will get messy owning a SHED !!! You will get more trust me ( I have 40 of the damn things 😆) secondly . what a beauty it is . this is certainly a great looking and sounding shed . although i am not convinced by the smoke box ( Yet !!! ) but a novel idea ESU certainly did their homework on it .
Thanks , Shed oh yeah I see what you mean, they are stunning models , the smoke gen has been tuened with a lower fan speed and a lower heat output which means less smoke , I am not a big fan of smoke on diesel models but it looks a lot better once turned down. This model has so many features for the money, very well designed also. thanks...p.s I want another now...
Great model. Got a soft spot for the 66. The db schenkers are frequent visitors to my steelworks.
Thanks for watching...
Jim
Fantastic looking and sounding loco, Jim! Another amazing addition to the fleet! Well done!

@@hovermotion see i told you 😂😂 class 66's are additive said you will buy some more 😂😂
Looks mint pal. Must have a high quality speaker in it.
I think the model has two speakers pointing upwards behind a roof grill...I may me rong ,in fact I might take the body off to see...👍🏻
Maravilhoso. Quando acho que não existe mais nada para inventarem ai surge mais uma novidade como essa luz no freio.
This model is outstanding,
Thanks for watching.
👍🏻
This has got a very similar sound profile to the Accurascale 66 as that start up and idle sound are the exact same.
I wonder if the sound recording is the same file as the Esu , or maybe yours has a bespoke file made for Accurascale.
@@hovermotion my guess is Accurascale had a bespoke one made, they probably liked alot of the sound files ESU made for there 66!
You changed everything via lokprogrammer?
@@padhyemihir Yeah or via the Ecos but it's much easier with the programmer 👍🏻
