  • May/ June 2024 and a look at the wonderful Class 66 Locomotive by Accurascale
    66507 in Freightliner Green, Sound fitted with factory installed stay alive.
    What a lovely model this is and the camera (Well Mine) just does not do it justice. So this is a video about what I think of the model and hopefully my review gives you a good insight. As I create this video most of the first run of the model has sold out, which says it all.

    Congrats to you Graham! Your one of the first to review this wonderful Accurascale 66! And an excellent review it is sir! Believe me ive been listening and watching glorious sheds for years. This IS the best sound to date and surpasses all other manufacturers inc the Hattons which i find is too bass. My dear friend Jim at the Locoshed in Manchester will receive his order next week, have earmarked Climate Hero and then i have to decide another, and i think it has to be the Freightliner 66507 having watched your awesome review. Why not do another review soon for us on this wonderful 66 from Accurascale. You have a well earned sub from me. Oh i will also do a little running session soon at Redshed Lane TMD. Thanks for sharing with us and no way is your channel boring!

    Hi I came across your channel as I was interested in how you fitted crew as I have some to fit and watched that video and enjoyed it so thought I would catch some others. By the way did I spot a Spurs badge in the 2 year video ?
    Cheers Kev

    Great video on the 66! May i ask, where did you get your Foster Yeoman agregate wagons from as im in need of some and would like to know where they are from and how much they cost.

      I paid through the nose when I got them, but lots of deals out there from Rails of Sheffield and The Model centre. Really weighty Dapol models for the money and the end units have a working rear light

    Hi don't you weather any of your trains ?

    • @FatBoysonTourHikingVideos
      @FatBoysonTourHikingVideos 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah some, but I'm not very good at it yet, so rather than ruin expensive models, I still practice on older trains. I have only been modelling since December 2021, so early days. I do order weathered versions of certain items to gain some ideas. Hopefully my skills will develop. Thanks for watching the video, really appreciated.

    Pay for quality .. But .. Bachmann still was fine all them years ago . From a distance looks like a Bachmann model until you zoom in especially in boring FL livery . Nice review but not worth the price tag in my opinion

      No argument from me on that one. The cost of new models are ridiculous. I do think you get good value from accurascale in my opinion. Fantastic detail and quality, the detail in the cab for example is amazing. This is sound fitted with a great speaker and a stay alive fitted. Excellent lighting back and front and on top of that a fantastic package of instructions, additional parts and a lifetime warranty at a cost of £260. You compare that to some Bachmann and Hornby models, I think it represents good value by comparison. Today I picked up a class 70 from Bachmann at a local train fair for £115, that is what I prefer to pay for locomotives if possible 😂. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, really appreciated.

      Lol looks nothing like the aged Bachmann model from any distance and the price is spot on in today's market especially with this high quality and what you get with this model.
      Have you seen Bachmann's and Hornby prices at all???

      @@andy81e12 Well I hope you get yourself back on the ladder soon so you can enjoy the hobby at whatever level but yes I do sympathise with you on prices.
      I actually sell to buy now and don't accumulate thus my collection has been reduced significantly over the years and only have what I need, yes it is just too expensive but Accurascale prices are decent compared to the competition.
