you can't find another band that is even remotely similar to Mili (or maybe it's just me, pls recommend if you know any). I can't tell you how much I love their lyrics, and I think the same too, that there's a lot of songs out there that have repeating lyrics and zero meaning. With Mili's songs its different, I get the joy of deciphering the meaning of the lyrics/song and listening to details that they've included in their songs (melodic, harmonics, rhythm etc)
I would die for another Mili jazz song. I showed my jazz teacher String Theocracy and Salt Pepper Birds and The Thought Police, she absolutely loved it! I'm going to figure out the chord progressions for String Theocracy so that I can attempt to improvise over that song

Thank you Papalodopolis for sharing the interview with Project Mili! I think the questions were really well thought and gives great depth on the members' thoughts on their old, current, and future songs. As a mili fan for years now, it's also refreshing to learn more on Mili's origins, thinking made in the making of the songs, AND MOMO'S ENGLISH SPEAKING VOICE! I think it's really cool hearing her speaking in English besides Japanese and Chinese and singing.
I'm really looking forward to Mili's future songs and collaborations! (Especially their new collaboration with Project Moon! Excited for Limbus Company) Whatever path they're taking with this band, I will be ready to support them, whether they will be going for future songs like GIVE ME RICE or songs with tunes with their roots. After all, all mili songs are sure to be goated!
We love you Project Mili! Go do what you love! 💙💙💙

Mili is such an underrated band. Legit all of their music is god tier. I got into them when goblin slayer aired and i have been listening to them almost daily since! They are currently selling cassettes so go grab them while you can!

I remember watching goblin slayer not knowing mili was doing the OP. I sat up in bed the second it started I was like “I know this” “no it can’t be did they land this project” then when her beautiful singer started it was clear it was mili. I was so happy for them I had to restart the anime because I wasn’t paying attention. I started listening around 2014 and they topped my Spotify every year even when flanked by drastically different artists and genres(rap, rock, phunk). Truly they are in a league of their own. The lyrics and the vocals… enough can’t be said about them. I hope they will release more vinyls! I love the one they dropped but a miracle milk one would never leave my turntable.

Thank you so much for doing this interview. I have been a long long time fan of Mili, and like many others I discovered their music through Deemo / Cytus and fell in love immediately. I am not someone who generally gets super attached to music groups or anything like that but I listen to Mili almost daily. Their work is truly one of a kind :)

Well, personally, when i listen to Mili and realize all the elements it contains (gorgeous melodies, meaningful lyrics,...), i feel related to a manga named Rojica to Rakkasei (if my memories serve me right). The manga also beautiful but under the cover is a dark plot. This comment also likes a commendation i guess ♪~(´ε` )
But still, the interview shows more side of Mili and i'm crazy for their band. ( ˘ ³˘)♥

I found Mili about four years ago via a related video (Mitsubachi) from a Kokia video, and funnily enough I think Rightfully sounds a lot like a Kokia song (Gematria) in parts. It's interesting to hear Cassie say it's not really exactly the sort of thing they want to do, when it sounds a bit different from most of their work and very similar to a particular other artist's work. (Interestingly, Kokia is another Japanese artist who heavily uses constructed languages.)
