Well, for me it is hard to "undermine" Helm. Personally from the first time I read more about him so many years ago I thought he was a perfect example for maybe a good warrior but a horrible king. He killed a man just because that man insulted him (after Helm insulted him first), made the son of that man and his relatives outlaws and hunted them away from their home. And than it should come at a surprise that these hunted people wanted revenge? The people of Dunland all together had reasons to hate the "forgoil", and Helm with his more than slight racism just made the fire of hate burn stronger. You could really argue if canon Wulf was a villain. He allied himself with the people from Harad, but the main reason of that war was an old circle of revenge and hate in which good and bad are not easy to decide. Not the great conflict between the Shadow and its enemies.

Hi. Reasonable doubts. I found mine were allayed by the Japanese trailer. Hera is less "bratty", we see her love for her father and we see her fighting alongside her brothers. The pacing is far better, it's exciting and takes you through some emotional beats. Knowing nothing of anime, the style didn't bother me, except that with the fast pace you notice less of the slight jerkiness and flat rendering of the foreground characters. There are fewer and different legacy scenes and the voiceover narration jumps right in, no messing with future-Eowyn (who no-one would have recognised anyway). It's almost as if the English trailer is ashamed of the film! Or was made by people who didn't understand how it's supposed to work. Here's hoping anyway.

I was intrigued by the show from the first 2 episodes. It felt like the show was being taken seriously. But episode 3 felt a bit off in terms of direction and episodes 4 and 5 really fell off with the bad use of CGI. Dont get me wrong, using CGI isn't what's the problem here, using bad CGI is. It's clear that production is being rushed and it feels as if the show is a little... Tonedeaf? I mean after the first two episodes I thought that it would take itself a bit more seriously. But unfortunately it's just going the route of the usual shoenen. And I have a special place for shoenen in my trashcan lol.

It's cool to see someone put the same thoughts I've had into a video. I had an even bigger impression since I knew Hayami-san from genshin's Ayaka, and Tekken's Kunimitsu. More importantly, I appreciate that this got adapted. It's cute, simple, and doesn't have some big overarching storyline to follow, but that's fine. We should get more shows like these, that do something less but do it well, rather than another isekai serving

The bed and foot scenes make this so hard to recommend. The show is so good though. I really enjoy the feelings being hidden in another language. Idk there just something about it that’s really interesting to me.

I'm typically indifferent to voice acting. But Pseudo Harem is definitely a stand out exception to my rule.

I just finished the 3rd volume and man, it's great. The first volume takes a bit to get into but once you're in, you're in. You can FEEL the heat and grime of the city. Someone said it gave off Blade Runner vibes and it totally does. I also like that the characters are a bit older.

I discovered miracle milk by accident, thought oh that’s a cool wholesome album until I actually decided to pay attention to it and realized holy shit it’s covering some dark dark themes. Lyrically and musically they cover polar opposites which gives way to this insane contrast that’s new and refreshing.
