    these are really pretty. I would have liked to see how they worked in your tub. I have been experimenting with ingredients with different results. I'm still not sure if I'm doing the recipe wrong or if they just don't make many bubbles. I have a recipe I absolutely love for pumpkin spice scoops but they behave more like a bath bomb than a bubble bath, which is fine, but I don't want to call them bubble scoops if they don't make bubbles, lol!!! Thanks for your video.

    I made two batches but I had to use corn starch instead of tapioca as 2:1 ratio. After 2 days they are not solid as a rock like yours. The bubbles Are awesome - huge thanks from me and my son for sharing the recipe but I can’t ship them as the present. Hopefully all this drama will end soon and I will find tapioca starch in one of my grocery shop ( Canada)

    • @TheOldCountryPorch
      @TheOldCountryPorch  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Tapioca starch and tapioca flour are the same thing, so yes you can🙂 I use sls and slsa for two reasons, the first reason is because one is liquid and one is powder and the combination gives the right consistency for this recipe, the second reason is because you get more bubbles by using both! Hope this helps 😊

    Good afternoon! Your recipe is pretty close to the one I use. I watched both video's and in this one you use a thick form of SLS and in the other you use the liquid form. Does the consistency difference of the SLS in the recipes change the consistency of the products? You said the only difference in the recipes is the added ingredient at the end to make it easier to pipe. I don't use SLS... ya think you could maybe use Coco B for the liquid surfactant as a substitution? I love trying new recipes.The cupcakes are super cute!! New subbie here...Yay!! • @TheOldCountryPorch

      Hi! Thanks so much for subbing💕🙂 There SLS I use is liquid, it looks thick in the one video because I filmed that video in winter and the bottle was cold, but it works just the same as it does in warm weather. I haven't tried to substitute it with Coco B so I'm not sure how well that would work.
