I saw a video ages ago the one where you made ice cream bombs with the cocomidopropyl betaine - I was so keen to try it but I didn't save it, and then I could never find it again because I couldn't remember what your channel name was or anything like that. Then today I thought let me try looking up bubble icing and here you are - I recognised your face and your voice instantly, I hit that subscribe button so fast I think I have whiplash. Once it dries you can't remix it or anything🙁, I normally make bigger batches of bath bombs so I don't have much left over but I always just use the leftovers for myself, but you could make little bath bubble drops with them (would be great for giving samples out) or I've seen it crumbled and added to bath bomb crumbles and sold that way too.

I haven't tried arrowroot power in this recipe, I'm not sure if it would work or not😕

Wondering if you ever say info about corn starch causing problems in a persons private parts? I have so am reluctant to use it. Do you think something else might give the same results?

I've never had any issues with using corn starch in my products but I'm sure you could use the tapioca starch as a substitute. You would have to play around with the amounts to get the right texture😊

Can you please write your recipe? Would be really helpful. Is the SLS that you use a liquid? I didn’t know you could get it in liquid form

So beautiful!! Can I replace SLS with Decyl Glucoside? Thanks.

Thank you😊 I've never worked with Decyl Glucoside but I would think it would be a good replacement SLS. If you try it be sure to let me know how it works out!

SLS is an anionic surfactant, while decyl Glucoside is non ionic.
This substitute will interfere with the surfactant system resulting in different bubbles/foam. A better substitute will be Sodium lauryl Sarcosinate, as it is also a liquid anionic surfactant. Anionic surfactants are best for good foam, and for best results, pair them with a non ionic or amphoteric x

I have a question. Isn't 99% alcohol harmful to the body?

    • @TheOldCountryPorch

In this recipe the alcohol evaporates after a few minutes, it's only used to make the mixture fluid enough to be piped with a piping bag. The 99% alcohol will dry out your skin if it gets on you but is not harmful if you let it evaporate. The problem with it is, when it's used in hand sanitizer, if the person puts the hand sanitizer on then puts gloves on before their hands are dry (like in a hospital setting) it can be harmful. 🙂
