This is so true. Too many of our churches are handing back the same culture that we are swimming in. Rather, Jesus called us to a different kingdom. It doesn’t mean total rejection of our current culture but it does call for re-examining our culture and the waters that we are swimming in as believers. I’m less concerned as to whether or not Holland is a Christian. I believe he is speaking truth. Remember that God spoke to Balaam out of the mouth of an ass. God is not confined to what or whom He uses. Holland may be closer to the Kingdom than some of us sitting in the pews.
    Blessings from the US!

These are books we will never get to read in the third world, alas. It's a book desert out here.

Understood, Tom, but I believe to many, many millions of us across this planet, this is precisely how we know Christianity to be anyway, never worry at al about that - because the peculiar uniquity of Christ is eternally enshrined in the Word and in the Life - and in the living miracle!
Our children must be taught the Gospel properly, just as we were, otherwise what has England - of all places - become?

He’s the one asking questions that traditional Christians not only don’t ask but shy away from in favor of pounding on their “safe” dogmas. Preaching to the choir. What does it say when religious “insiders” perceive those who bring new perspectives, even challenges, as “patronizing” - a reaction which is a far bigger tel of inappropriate ego needing to be weeded out for any honest framework for discussion to occur. Where’s the love? In those willing to ask the questions that need to be asked to open greater space for open dialogue that encourages truth to rise into the light of day.

People are very quick to criticise including yourself!!!
It is becoming increasingly difficult to live as a Christian in the public domain without being fired for counter Marxist views.
Together with taking a kicking from ‘outsiders’ who would never dare to criticise Muslims
