Love your work Joey, your guitar tones from the early albums were incredible. I've been in the band Aggressive Disorder for a number of years, ( the original A.D ) cause there's now another out there, but anyway, I was also always chasing that heavy tone. Thanks Bruce! It's basically a killer sounding LP custom going into a Dual Rectifier with some additional eq help from a vintage Pultec in the FX loop. Also, at the time, I had a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position and was using Marshall cabs with 75w speakers. Pure FIRE from this setup... Quadruple the rhythm tracks as tight as you possibly can.. and... Waaallaaa!
Joey you’ve had a great guitar sound on all the albums and live recordings I’ve heard! What wah do you use? It always sounds really fat with a really wide sweep; I can’t make my wah sound anything like that!
Hey Kerry! I've always loved the rack mount version of the Dunlop Cry Baby. Most of LOA's early records featured this wah. It has an eq on there, which can really help sculpt the perfect wah sound you're looking for...
