Manifesting a rotation loop that is recognizably different from what we've played since Antorus without just adding more short duration amps, great video
its a shame because i love dh but out of cooldowns i feel we are absolute trash..no other playstyles really like variety at all :( we need a re work for sure... keep the content coming man :)
When you think about it, DH was the only class that was fully designed with the MoP streamlined talent tree, which is probably why we are stuck like this. Monk for sure went through iterations with the "Classic" talents, so they had some stuff to go with. Evoker was planned for DF when we went back to the larger talent tree.
Give DPS DH 2 talent trees. One DPS tree for the Demonic/Fel Scars/Eyebeams type stuff "Embracing the inner demon" and make that the Havoc tree, basically expanded version of what currently exists but removing all Throw Glaive talents and Momentum; while leaving in things that play to the Explodey Fel Boy class fantasy, including Unbound Chaos, Inertia and Ragefire. Then on the 2nd talent tree give us the Throw Glaive talents and Aldrachi Reaver type of talents, that really play into the skilled, dexterous, flashy-dashy Blade Boy, offering the more Ranged DPS feel. Name this tree "Reaver" or something. So we have one Havoc tree that focuses on Demonic abilities, and one "Reaver" tree that focuses on Throw Glaives, Soul Fragments, Inertia/movement builds. Easy as that. AND GIVE DEMON HUNTERS FLIGHT FORM YOU MONSTERS
@@VooDooSaurus A Aldrachi rework is a safe bet for 11.1 given how bad it is and literally no one plays it if they dont rework it for season 2... well... its going to be a shit storm
They need to disentangle the Havoc tree into two different speccs. That alone fixes so many issues. Less cramped class tree. Movers can go mover, no movers can go no mover. Vengeance has similar issues btw.
@@liamdavies2823 ironically could work. Iirc DHs lore-wise dhs use their magics to bolster their physical capabilities kinda how jedi/Sith in star wars do to do whack high jumps etc.
@@The_Yukki with chaos brand existing, and aug having a pretty simple “put buff on others and keep high uptime” design, I can see them making a harder support spec that puts debuffs on enemies rather than buffs on allies. Doing this to dh would be really cool, they need third spec and aug needs competition. Veng and havoc have also spent plenty of time in the meta
@liamdavies2823 only issue I can see with support spec is the same issue that evoker has. If you only have 1 spot for dh... you're taking the buff one.
@@That_kind_of_orc tuning isn’t really the focus of these videos but it’s something I’ll bring up a bit in the spec tree one. We could be buffed and still have horrendous glaring issues
What if they just moved all utility sigils to bottom row so you could choose one? Chains(too op, maybe increase cd for havoc?), Silence and Misery(Or have Sigil of Spite here) + Collective Anguish, The Hunt. Also, remove/rework the talents like Vengeful Bonds, Lost in Darkness, Precise Sigils, Long Night & Pitch Black. Swallowed Anger + Disrupting Fury should indeed be a baseline or just completely remove them or rework. My suggestions: Vengeful Bonds should instead reduce the cooldown of VR by X seconds and remove roots Lost in the Darkness removed, useless spell and talent. Maybe remove Precise Sigils and move Soul Sigils there instead If Darkness were to be moved further up in the tree, I'm not against having Pitch Black there, but it feels wrong when u compare it to other classes utility cooldowns. Maybe Long Night should instead increase the radius of Darkness and combine it together with Pitch Black, so it becomes 3minutes cd and have the increased radius.
@@WSOGM precise sigils should just be a macro option available to anyone with ground markers tbh. Actually cant remember if it's precise sigils. I mean the talent that places them in target.
Wtb sinful brand back. A lot of people didn’t like it but you know what…a lot of people don’t like no mover. Sinful brand let no movers have an impactful way to engage with the game.
Yes the play style of familiar and the same but it’s not that simplistic. With sinful brand you had to pick and choose who to sinful brand and when to meta at least providing some more decision making
Casting movement skills for dmg amp is really bad imo. It just feels unecessary to jump around like this unless youre actually the tank. Id love to play around eye beam and meta more, to maximize meta uptime and just look badass, instead of looking like a bug flying around.
Since you discussed class tree here, I think that removing demonic would do a great deal of good for havoc (perhaps move to vengeance tree). Demonic + Chaotic Transformation have defined Havoc for way too long and I think it would be best to leave them behind. I remember DH from W3 being a terror for the opponent the entire game and a complete god during Meta. Would love to see a way more consistent Havoc with a huge meta burst every 2 mins
I Agree with you. I honestly forgot to mention it here but im going to bring it up when i do the spec tree, since demonic is so core to havoc to me i just associate the two. But i think seeing a havoc without demonic could be healthy

I think the best point you made is how boring our choices are. Be nice if that was improved with some fun utility

I get that a spiky profile is better, but it feels so bad. Would love to go back to high uptime leveled-out dmg profile...
The best option would be talents that allow you to spec into either profile, many specs have this. They very recently allowed this choice for boomkin
