You are right when you say "So many beautiful rocks!" I have watched a whole lot of your videos now and because of seeing what you, Theo, Montana Rock Mom, and Agate Angler have posted about finding all these beautiful rocks my wife and I are taking a vacation to Billings. We will be there August 20th to 23rd. Maybe we could see some of the treasures you have for sale while we are in Montana. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful finds on TH-cam and Facebook! 💛

Wonderful finds! And I'm so happy to see you took the stromatolite! That makes me so happy! And all the pet wood was gorgeous! And the yellow jasper with the red lines and circles in it! And the wonderful waterline agate!what a perfect day! Thanks Kate!❤
A very relaxing music, I like that the music don`t overpowering me. You found a lot of goodies, thank you for sharing. Loved that one at 9.40 with the red pattern around and YEAH, a Jasper,
Beautiful rocks petrified wood agates amazing thank you for your videos I cannot go looking for rocks so I’m limited to purchasing them. I am very grateful for your videos they have taught me so much Katie 🇦🇺
Love seeing all the agates and other minerals and specimens you find. Sometimes you mention wanting to cut something open to see what is inside. I wish you'd show what that reveals!
😯! I just watched this again. The rock you show that you found at 9:35 in the video, that is kind of a dark gold color with red stripes in very pretty! 🧡❤️
Would it work to pull a wagon and leave it near river and transfer rocks from backpack to wagon when you leave? Maybe weeds or grassland is too tall to pull closer? Just a wondering… Really enjoy your vids and learning to recognize variety of rocks you find and when dry or wet to see them! Thank you.
Just came across your channel will be checking your other adventures! Don’t know if you have heard of Hangman 1128 or Stellium 7 TH-cam channels, worth checking out.
How do you tell agates from quarts please respond I was in Alaska looking for agate specifically but I couldn't tell if I was finding rounded quartz or agate
Hi! I'm not sure what kind of agates are in Alaska - but the difference in Montana is one of texture. Chalcedony, which makes up the body of the agate, is microcrystalline, which means that the rock's crystal structure can't be seen with the naked eye. Quartz has a larger crystal structure, and generally fractures roughly rather than in large chips.
If they could only tell stories, we would sit for longer than the years that took them to be where they lay in your hands. 🌬️🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘 Many moons have pasted over. Destruction and rebirth. ❤ Chi-miigwech!
