Kawasaki KZ750 N1 Spectre 1981 Full Engine Rebuild.

Here’s a short video of Darrens 1981 Kawasaki KZ750 Spectre full engine rebuild. Months of hard work crammed into 3 minutes. Literally every gasket and oil seal has been replaced. New piston rings, timing chain and primary chain, cylinders and cylinder head refaced. Valves lapped and shimmed and cylinders re honed. Carbs were also rebuild and set up to the rebuilt engine. My customers complaint was that the engine was rattling due to a worn timing chain and primary chain, out of spec valve clearances and a worn sprag clutch. It was also smoking heavily due to the valve stem seals being perished and worn piston rings. I hope Darren can enjoy his rebuilt engine and I hope it gives him many miles of smiles! 😊🙌🏻

I don't think Kawasaki actually officially made a 750 Spectre until 1982. In 1981 it was a Kz750 E2.
