You’re the first American I’ve heard refer to it that way. ( from an English guy😂) A used boat is a loved boat, every mark, scuff hard earned adventure miles 🤙🛶
Got that new boat properly broken in. Scratchy class I+ and lots of dragging. The privy damage was a TRUE bummer! 😂Snowshoes and hot tent are on top of the outdoor gear now. I'm living a bit closer to nature in northern RI now: lots of lakes to explore and fish before freeze up. Ice fishing this winter is a distinct possibility. I hope that my new metal and plastic knee doesn't get too cold. My -20 Superior Gear Hammock will get some good testing, though I might have to head up to the White/Green Mountains to actually need it. Nice video! Thanks, and take care! ✌️👊👍

I am sitting in the stern seat, paddling the canoe backwards. I'll try to get some better footage of it on the next trip. It was real good to see those guys again, and that sausage was incredible! SO good

I work part time at a nature center, and yes, EVERY day I pick up people's trash. Sometimes within 20 feet of a trash can. Amazing. I will not taint your channel with what I say under my breathe.

Needles, from the lady teaching first aid she says not to touch them. Just the residue of a certain drug can be very bad. Not to sound like a broken record, but here goes, a pole would save the boat from undue wear and tear. standing you can see the rocks easier, break, back up, side slip/ferry, etc. If you get into Maine maybe a group can get together and do some poling. Sorry I can't help it, I love poling. Looked like perfect poling water too.
I know the risk, as an adult, I will take the risk before I allow some unknowing kid to do so. Did you make it to the part o f the video were I was standing in the canoe? First time I have ever donr it going down river. It was fun. Since this trip I have been scouting my land looking for good poles. I have found quite a few of them. Going to make some this coming winter
@@ItsGoodintheWoods Yes I saw the standing and it made me smile. A good start, You can practice on a shallow section of any lake like along a nice sandy beach. I pole a lot along the edges of many lakes as well as rivers and streams.
