  • @saarthakaneja9572
    @saarthakaneja9572 2 ปีที่แล้ว +46

    This will make sense only if your annual running is over 15000 KM for next 15 years. The upfront extra cost is 7 lakh rs . At an annual running of 15000 Km you would be saving roughly 600 lt fuel . Which translates to Rs 60,000 annual saving . PV of which comes to 5.5 lakhs at 7% intrest (conservative rate in case someone can make higher returns than 7% then running required would be more than 15k Km) . Assuming another 1Lakh for adas and paddle shifters . So you would be breakeven at roughly 15000 Km plus . Also you will have a smaller boot . So basically it doesn't make sense in case you have running less than 15000 KM. Also if someone plans an EMI on this then breakeven will be much higher . You need a daily running of 42KMs . Considering the future of Hybrid work models , this doesn't make economic sense .

    • @Teja81990

      . My point being Honda is digging its own grave in India . They are selling a 2018 type touch screen in 2022. They have 0 assessments of Indian Markets . Honda will have to close down its shop in next 5 years if they stay like this . I love Honda's but honestly they have got it all wrong in terms of pricing on almost all the cars be it Jazz , WRV , Civic , CRV etc. I wish they had better people managing their affairs .

      @@saarthakaneja9572 Except for hyundai and maruthi , all tge other car makers have made number of blunders in indian market. All the carmakers have been late to the subcompact suv segment. Hybrid suv would have been a superhit even if overpriced. Many people bare fed up with road conditions . people have no problems in buying an suv for that price.sedans are just not have been india. As they lack versatility. There has not been a single superhit sedan in indian market since last decade. Their market share is being eaten away by premium hatchbacks and mainly suvs.

    Aspiration of every man !! 😍
    Everything is Top notch on this car (just don’t compare with new gen Civic) but while making purchase decision price is the only factor that makes It very difficult for a middle class family who aspires for a city & specially that H badge.. Though it’s not meant for mass market. Currently the 21-22L car market is very competitive as Kia & MG has spoiled Indians with its tech enabled wizardry ..
    Honda works hard on its Engine refinement & they r proud as F*%K about it & they will put all their resources in that area..
    & now Indians r too spoiled to understand Engine wizardry but rather happy with cosmetic ones like that goddamn sunroof!!

    I live on 15th floor and Parking is far away from flat. There is no provision to charge EV in society.
    Now this cars seems very good option till we have good infrastructure for charging EVs. And your video will definitely help people to make right decisions.

    i hope new brezza comes in hybrid too, that would be amazing. I think most of the automobile companies in India should not move directly into electric unless they have means to do so, Indian automobile market can have transition from oil to hybrid and flex, and then from hybrid to electric and other sustainable fuel.

    23.9 kmpl great, but at the cost of 26.5 lakh maybe 27 lakh onroad, hell no , would buy a regular city for 16 lakh and spend 10 lakh for fuel and maintainance and service for 10 years would be same

    First of all, your review is truly commendable and practical unlike other forums !!! Honda City was once upon a time a Star Car !! Sedan is a dying segment!! The feel of high seating, good visibility, in and out comfort in a compact SUV (Sonet, Nexon, Venue, Taigun etc..) is unmatched to a low seated sedan, thus C-SUV are in boom. Creta, Seltos, Hector and 700 are far better SUVs. Moreover, it seems a complex architecture (ICE+Battery+Electric Motor). When something goes wrong, even technicians at workshop don’t understand what’s wrong and car keeps stranded. Nevertheless, Pricing will decide fate of this car, no matter how good, it’s still a sedan !!!

    I always look for features like Adaptive Cruise Control.
    As currently cars are not giving an experience of actual cruise control.
    But only concern is it's high price and less boot space.
    Sedans are known for dicky space
