One fact I always thought was wild was during the scene where Loomis goes with a Cemetery Keeper over to Michael’s sister’s grave. Seeing her tombstone was missing. The Keeper is naturally upset thinking it’s some kind of prank while Loomis knew exactly happened. Michael came home. Now, the tombstone wasn’t dug out. No it was fucking PULLED out. Meaning Michael yanked up this huge ass slab of concrete that was buried and carried it home. Nobody was going to beat him hand to hand.

You’re going to do Jason?! Score, love that you are tackling these iconic series of horror.
Michael: He doesn’t have to be able to teleport. He obviously understands his prey who always run inside somewhere and houses and buildings have limited exits. The distance between them is not that big with homes (most of his kills happen in suburbs) when people become terrified their executive functioning suffers generally. Him being in absolute control of his physical and, if he has any at all, emotional response gives him the ability to think and plan critically faster. Being an absolute unit definitely helps.

From what I've been told, that lightbulb in the closet bit was partially accidental. See, they could only shoot that scene once because they only had the one set of closet doors to break through. So the guy who was in charge of setting up that scene temporarily acted as Micheal breaking through the door because "At least if I mess it up, that's on me." Or something along those lines.

One thing that always made me laugh with the original Halloween is that when they get to the store the alarm is still going off. That store was where he got his iconic mask, and he wore it while stalking Laurie at school, meaning that alarm was going off since before school started and still going after they got out of school. A car alarm going for like 3 minutes drives me insane if I was in the area I'd probably have burned the building down to just stop the noise.

Taking the phone off the hook would mean that if you picked up any other phone hooked up to that line in the house, you'd be able to hear them, but no one else would. Hey guy with adhd here. There are two types of adhd medication that I know of, stimulants and antistimulants. What Rono is most likely referring to are stimulants. These constantly stimulate various parts of your brain. This allows you to be enthusiastic about anything and do it for hours without getting bored or distracted. You would just need to make sure to keep track of time. Antistimulants, however, do the exact opposite. They prevent anything from stimulating you, making everything boring. This means you will be able to focus, but only because you can't find anything interesting enough to distract you. But this one has some side effects that would be terrible for the situation in the video. A) You can't get excited or inraged, so you won't have enthusiasm when you fight for your life, B)you tend to have a slower reaction time when on these meds as stimuli don't trigger a response, and C) as someone who has taken these, I know that you don't feel hunger until it causes pain. This means you won't eat and won't have the energy you need to fight. So if you need adhd medication fight Michael, make sure you get the right ones

Absolutely love this one. As a die hard Halloween fan, your comments were hilarious. The new movie (Halloween Ends) shows something interesting you touched on. It is adrenaline. After getting jump in Kills, Michael goes into hiding and he's a wreck 4 years later, but once he can finally start killing again he's back to being a force of nature. Last year I actually did a video about bringing Michael into D&D and noticed the tactics you talked about. Michael's sadistic mentality is his weakness. Everything he does is to instill fear in others and joy for him, he will not break his own habits. Open areas that are prepped with great visibility, with long ranged capabilities to deliver maximum damage are really the only way to beat him. Up close or in tight spaces, Michael reigns supreme. Ambush tactics will also work, but these require serious planning and set up, and even then you run the risk of allowing Michael to get too close. Open area with ranged abilities is the only safe way to do it.

One thing I never understood was how Michael could sustain multiple gunshot wounds and not bleed out ie when Loomis hits him several times center mass with his 357. Unfortunately this franchise turned into a case of death by success. The first movie was such a hit that audiences wanted more, so John Carpenter and Debra Hill made the second one, intending it to be the last in Meyer's story so they could work on other ideas (hence Halloween III, which like Roanoke said was meant to be a yearly anthology of different scary stories). But audiences lost their minds when Meyer's didn't make a return, and we got an avalanche of nonsensical sequels. It actually mirrors Nightmare on Elm street in this sense. Wes Craven had originally stated Nancy had won, realizing how to beat Freddy and being brave enough to do it. But the studio realized what a goldmine of a story they had and demanded Craven leave the first movie open to a sequel. In my own personal horror world, Laurie and Nancy both put down their bad guys (and wished they had Roanoke's tips to do it) and the other movies are just stories in the same universe.

Roanoke, excellent video! Personally I think Michael is small combination of physicality and mysticism. The latest movie Halloween Ends even strongly suggests this. They surmise that killing people makes Michael stronger/heals him. That's why in the beginning of the last movie he is in a very weakened state. He hasn't killed enough people to full heal from the damage inflicted from the last movie. Hence why Corey was able to overpower him initially. It also showed that it doesn't even have to be Michael that does the killing as all of Corey's victims revitalized Michael because that's who the town believed he was and then when he recovered some strength he was able to overpower and kill Corey.

Encase him in molten glass/volcanic glass and throw that shit into the ocean. It won’t crack for a hundred centuries. The first thing that came to my mind was the following:
You need a big vehicle/truck, a boat, barrels and a woodchipper. Various tools include axes, guns, preferably high caliber rifles with hunting rounds for maximum soft tissue damage, and shotguns with buckshot for that extra fleshripping power. 2 trusted companions are also necessary, one should be capable of operating the boat if you aren't.
Much like you suggested, find a big open area with open sight lines. When he approaches, hit him with the vehicle (which you likely towed the woodchipper with in the first place), he is now down. Companions approach to blast vital areas and limbs with weapons, apply axe to joints, seperating them from the body.
Prepare barrels by woodchipper, feed parts into the chipper and chop him up.
Once all is disposed of, get the barrels in the truck and rush to the boat already prepared before this fight, sail out with the barrels and pour the goop into the water, much like using mulch to lure sharks. Fish, crustaceans and other wildlife will happily feed on the remains.
