So enjoyable to see the loving interaction with both of you and Liam. These will be wonderful memories he will keep for a lifetime. I am sitting by the fire this rainy morning sipping coffee and enjoying a few episodes. Thanks for your fine work. Jim in California
On the Navajo Nation-reservation in the US our families and friends for decades and decades have no running water or electricity, miles to the stores for food or to see the doctors even schools. Be thankful for what you guys have.
Yeap gotta give yourselves pauses so you can keep going. Great that you liked Eriksberg, and great that you saw something in the rain :). Classic time to go is a warm summer evening, towards dusk, when the herds of bison start to move.
There are some people in the off grid community around the world who have a hell of a lot less than you have to start with. Been able to afford all the building materials, having another property that you rent out. Why would anyone have any negative thoughts about living off grid. And don't forget you have each other. Love still conquers all..
I’m a new subscriber, and live watching your videos. I understand that I don’t know the true extent of both of your lives, but you two are incredible. I love the connection that both of you have and hope that someday I can experience something like that too someday. Keep up the amazing creativity and thanks for sharing your life with all of us.
Thank you so much, Andrew, from the bottom of our hearts. This was really sweet. I know that you didn’t ask, but if I may say one thing that does that we have this connection: We are open. Always open and curious about each other. People are so very different ❤️ Thank you so much for watching! Love, Annie
You guys.... I already felt wiped out after a normal holiday with my stepkids - I cannot imagine how you must feel with everything on top. You are a shero for sure!
Julian and Annie - so enjoying your journey - Soon I have to go into hospital for surgery with an up to 6 week recovery - Guess how i'll fill my time??. Not sure if you are still fetching water by hand as I'm still early days in the series. Seeing you walk down to get river water made me think of how ideal a ram pump will work there. Totally no power required, just the moving water of the river. They can be bought, but with you guys skills, a few PVC pipe fittings and some PVC glue you will easily knock this one over - A second hand PVC tank or an IBC 1000 litre water tote / cube near the house and you will have water 24/7. If you need more details please reach out. If you've already made another plan - this is still good info for your other followers that may not know how this works. Anyone can reach out to me - or google 'off grid ram pump DIY'. I can send links too. Keep up the great work, energy, and motivational, positive mindfulness snippets :-) Kev Downunder
Lots of progress! But I can imagine it’s not easy especially off grid! A Jasmine tree is a wonderful surprise though . Exciting to see next time how much progress there is made! 3 weeks of summer vacation left at that point. I do hope you got to enjoy the Swedish summer too! ☀️🌿🌸
A blossoming jasmine bush in the yard, it must be a good sign. 🌼 I'm glad you're handling the hardships, I suppose it will become a little more difficult as autumn sets in, too. Hang in there! 💪 By the way, I recently re-discovered a children's literature author-illustrator: Elsa Beskow. She wrote and illustrated many books with a nature theme, back in the first half of the 20th century. She also wrote the stories about _"Tant Grön, tant Brun och tant Gredelin"_ . Childhood memories. ♥ I have one of the illustrations framed as a decoration. They have a lovely old-school look to them! Maybe those pictures would match the cottage and its location? 🍄🍂
Ahh yes, I think you're absolutely right 🌼 Thank you! Oh wow, yes!! These illustrations would fit perfectly in our little cabin in the woods! Thank you so much! All my love, Annie
Thanks! Haha, yeah we just popped out a 10 year old! No, that's Julian's son Liam :) He'll be spending the whole summer with us in the cabin. Love, Annie

Oh Priska, Thank you! You know. That's so sweet and encouraging. Thank you!
For the bear, you can wrap your trash can with chicken wire and attach an electric fence charger. We stopped cougars this way.
Really? Alright. The bear thing might have been too much of an inside joke maybe. There are no bears in this part of Sweden :)

You should be able to see a gnat from a mile away with that lens! ;-)
Haha, yeah absolutely! The hard part though is to keep the lense still and in focus, because it's so heavy xD We should be using a tripod.

Do you think the panel of the cottage will be finished before the snow comes?
Hope you have some help before you get too tired.
