Hi Psych2Go can you help me pls? On Wednesday or Friday I'll have to do a presentation and I get so scared and I start shivering and I don't know which words to use...its like my brain gets in alert mode, how can I do to get off this fear? People will laugh at me if they see I'm nervous
When I'm depressed listening to happy music actually makes me feel worse. Instead of being uplifting the positive lyrics instead make me feel bad because I worry my life will never be like that. That's why I only ever listen to sad music. It eases my mind to know that I'm not the only one who's suffered like this.
Yea it's different for everyone. Different types of music work for different people with these issues. We're all wired differently. Just do what works best for you :)
I mainly listen since it may have a good beat or something else. I don't worry about the lyrics half the time, lol. I don't listen to much sad songs but I really like 1800 atm, great song
When I am depressed I listen to depressing music only, until it goes away. It makes me feel melancholic but happy... I don't know I think I may be addicted to sadness in a way. My most beloved works of art are always sad and bittersweet.
For me , it loops. Happy > feeling uncomfortable > listen to sad song > sad > ok that's enough > happy metal rock song/party > happy > feeling uncomfortable > sad fuck up song

Kirbae Thank you :) I am currently fighting with self harm, I am 8+ months clean. I know it is a lot of time, but I am not over yet. Sometimes I feel like I want to do it once more... I'll keep going the best way I can. Thanks, once more!
Sacred Yveltal I've never gotten as far as self harm but i have with one suicide attempt and many suicidal thoughts leading up to it. Depression has been holding me back for years on & off way before i even realized it was depression. I'm going through it now with the worst case of anxiety i've ever had instead of depression this time and my hope this year is to get rid of it once and for awhile with what i've been working towards. I'm happy to hear how long it's been for you and keep up the good fight! :)
Kirbae I feel you, anxiety is the worst experience (social anxiety for me) My best wishes for you on this year. You deserve get rid of such issues, Those horrible feelings I wouldn't wish to even my worst enemies. Be the safest you can! I tell you, suicide will not help you or your problems at all. And, please, never try to harm that body of yours, pain will not help neither. I can assure you :) Lots of love
Fast paced music actually relaxes me. Whenever I feel down or lonely I turn to some punk/pop-punk music. Always helps. Sometimes it even helps me get rid of headaches and fall asleep. Still speaking of punk styled music as well
Actually other studies show negative music doesn’t only help negative emotions. But also produces greater control of those emotions long term. The video even said it was subjective.
Music is literally one of the best ways I'm able to cope with both my depression and anxiety. Whenever I can't listen to it while I'm working on things at school it just makes it worse for me because I'm already anxious and paranoid 24/7 but when I can it helps me relax and calm down. I also sometimes use specific songs as a way to vent, like sometimes I play a song that means a lot to me and probably cry to it but it helps me. It feels like someone's comforting me, y'know? Also the thing about the lyrics is so true! I sometimes spend hours just trying to find out the meaning of each lyric in the song!

As a rock-lover with GAD, I think the reason why faster tempos create higher anxiety levels is because of how much listening to the music feels like a micro anxiety/panic attack. The brain hears the stress in the chords and enterperates it as outside stressors acting upon the body, leading to an increase in stress hormones being produced.
That's interesting. I work in the exact opposite way, heavy metal seems to calm me down more often than not, and even when it doesn't, I just jump to kpop. My mom did say as a baby, I'd fall asleep to Korn so...
I think they "experimented" genres like metal on people who are not used to them or very much dislike them. Metal might just be the most "happy"/uplifting genre of music. It has no bullshit plastic positivity, it is honest and strong, it lets you feel badass and good and honestly powerful as a person, it promotes history/rational thought/honesty/FUN/more. It is fun as hell and the community is super awesome! The only sub genre that can make you feel down is some doom or dsbm, but when you already feel depressed this kind of music lets you digest the emotion a lot and it makes you feel understood and strong. Just how I see things.
In other words, metal is catharsis. Catharsis can be expressed in many ways, whether through atonal death metal, depressive (suicidal) black metal, incessant doom metal, or euphoric power metal. And just as Berserker said, it has a tight knit community. Metal is abrasive, separating itself from the outsiders and leaving the people who truly love it. Coupled with the endless subgenres which allow people to find their niche, it is an experience by itself. There are definitely many negative things within the community. However, that's a fact in every corner of the universe. Just take care of yourself, and remember that there's still love and hope in our world!
I listen to music in the morning to make my mood better and to not feel alone and cancel out "the voices" that I might have so thank you for explaining why that happens!
I listen to music while I draw and I choose the songs that share the same mood of the thing I'm drawing. It's really helped me bring out the mood of my drawings a lot more.
i feel like if your sad and or depressed sometimes it's okay to listen to sad or depressing music to have something to relate to or to help cry and get it all out but i am no professional this is just a personal point of view
When I started writing music It gave me something to do, it got me away from harmful thoughts even though it’s about my anxiety, depression, and hard times in life it’s better to get it out. Like therapy.
I’ve always needed music. Ever since I was a baby I couldn’t sleep without it. It got me through the years of bullying, anxiety attacks, and depression. At one point it was the only thing keeping me here. It kept me off the edge when I was only 1 step away. On the hard days it lets me forget/feel better about everything. There is no greater thing then music, it’s one of the few things I will always wake up for.
ICARUSxRISING some people take drugs, others need medicaments and You, you listen to music. So you are unable to feel good if there is no music in your life. That is really sad
When I feel bad I listen to angry and hard rock music. There is a strange comfort in venting all of your stresses and built up anger. Songs like Aneurysm by Nirvana and Lounge Act are the best.
I always found listening to extreme music to be more relaxing for me. While the process of listening to it might be tiring, as it makes me really energetic, the end result, when I put my headphones down is always cathartic. It leaves me feeling calm, relaxed and collected. It also alleviates me from stress and anxiety and keeps me going throughout the day.
That's why I listen to twenty one pilots, their music has a lot of tempo change but it helps me with my anxiety since I can relate to Tyler, and I can't wait for the next album.
I tend to suffer from anxiety and depression and listening to music can help my mood. It's so therapeutic! When I feel bad emotions I listen to music and I often feel a bit better!
Music has helped me more than nothing because it keeps me distracted from suicidal thoughts or to scape from stressing situations like waiting for someone in a public place, i actually got kind of into writhing poems, but im not good at it, i kind of get frustrated about riming and having a atractive writing and just end up writhing my feeling withouth any verse or sense at all. The kind of music i lisent too is usually rock, but also jazz, its kind of all about two faces of the same coin, being one to make me realize all the feelings i have, being hate, sadness, lonelyness or whatever, and the other being to calm my feelings down and get focused
Music was literally my everything as I grew up. It helped me focus on my homework, it made me smile when everyone else made me cry, it was my motivation and inspiration for everything. I'm only alive now because of the melody, the lyric, the artist
Metal always tends to help me because it’s intense and passionate in whatever emotion it’s showing, and although also there is some music that I associate with bad memories and for a while I didn’t know that that was the reason that made it hard to listen to them
I do have depression and I do like to write my own music and read the lyrics and sing the songs, musicians that often help me feel better are Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Chris Brown, and lots more that I can't remember but these people really helped so I give a big thanks to them
@@Threebananaforaeuro I love the songs Queen, Royal, Heathens, anything Christina Perry, anything Boys Like You, Invisable, and Older, I am really inspired by those songs, it is definitely a weird choice of songs out of the thousand I listen to, Christina Perry has soft and slow music, as well as the songs Invisable, Boys Like You, and Older, but Queen, Royal, and Heathens are faster upbeat songs, I listen to a lot of songs but from these songs I learn how to make music that's not depressing, some still sound sad and slow, and others sound upbeat and happy
As for me, BTS music really helps with my depression. It is true that music can really help someone, when you can actually relate to the lyrics. I feel happy and a lot more stronger in overcoming my depression by listening to my favourite music.
Jesus Rayos yess!! their songs help me a lot! like a lot 💜 they’re one of the reason why i’m still holding on. im also glad to be army and meeting other army like you guys.
1. Wake up 2. Eat 3. Music 24/7 4. Sleep :D idfk where i would’ve been without you music ❤️ Now it said more intense music wasn’t that good, Idk i guess dubstep and all that is pretty intense xD but i really love dubstep, dubstep instrumental etc, but i also like sad songs without anyone singing! Thx for proving me right
Music had helped me so much in my dark days , now things are much way better .I still choosing the song to listen to depending from the mood I am so i can feel better after.
For me metal does relax me the most. I love all genres of metal and it kinda always is what I want it to be. It can motivating, soothing, sad, happy, angry, funny and so much more. Sometimes even a few of these things at once. There is nothing like sitting alone in a comfortable chair in a dark room and listening to Amon Amarth. I just feel so calm on the inside. Nothing around me matters. All problems are forgotten. That's why I love metal so much.
TH-cam recommendations helped me through the worst anxiety and depression I've experienced last June. The music video for the Beatles song "Hey Jude" was on my TH-cam home screen so I decided to see what the song was. I was able to relate to the lyrics and my anxiety came out in tears. Music is truly a powerful source of emotion.
My music appreciation teacher said that using baroque or classical music as a background noise for parties can actually keep people calm and friendly, and that playing loud upbeat Spanish music created more arguments (per his experiences).
Okay, Psych2Go, this is getting scary, please stop it. I was just literally listening to music to relieve(?) my depression until I got a notification and the color drained from my face. HOW ARE YOU DOING THAT!? O_o
Rika May You shall only know the secrets if you survive about a decade of learning from the most magikest magik psychologists in the building of teaching psycho-magiks, under the name of college ;3 and luck. Mostly luck.
I always have music on, when I read, draw, play video games, take a shower and even when I go to bed. If somebody takes it away for even 1 day I start to feel sad/angry/uncomfortable and I start to not be so fun. Music means a lot to me
Actually music helps me through bad times , I listen to music so much and it helps me , I don't know if I got depression but I got some symptoms of it , music means a lot for me.
I've not been diagnosed but I display most symptoms of anxiety and I often find listening to one of my favourite songs from a musical helps. In it, the character singing has a panic attack (Michael In The Bathroom from Be More Chill) and I often find listening to it and singing along can help me vent and feel a bit better, then listen to something happy to boost my mood. :)
When am having a bad day and I’m listening to music, some songs trigger my anxiety and make me have the biggest panic attacks. Especially “Breathe me” by Sia. I do love the song tho
Honestly, music is my way to feel better, it has always been. From listening to other artist, to writing my own lyrics. Music is an international language, it can be understood by anyone in the world. I mean, isn’t it the greatest thing? Even if there are no lyrics you still can understand what the composer is trying to say...that’s just pure magic.
im sometimes really anxious and listening to music helps, but its interesting that even if i listen mostly to dubstep, which can be fast paced and agressive, doesnt make anything worse.
I listen to varied types of metal to calm myself. And video game music. You know, that 'fast paced stuff' that's supposed to stress you out? Calm music does nothing. And I'd rather kill myself than listen to pop.
I feel the same way Metal, Rock or sad music . ❤️💓🤘👍👍 😪Pop and county : Ugh...boring!!!!😴 🚫Rap : Unable to follow that fucked up thing ! I't makes me way too angry!!!!!💢💢💣💣🚫
I was depressed a while ago, I didn’t want to go to therapy because I honestly thought it was stupid talking about me, i don’t like to talk about myself. I learned myself to listen happier music like If you know that I’m lonely- FUR and became better!
I'm listening to a lot of hard rock and metal music. It helps me vent my stress and lower my anxiety long term. It even helps me out of bigger long lasting anxiety attacks. Slower music is almost only helpful, when I'm already on low stress. When my anxiety strikes calm music keeps my head rasing. I'm way to impatient to wait for it. Maybe it has something to do with ones own thoughts rythm, or something.
My Psychedelics and Rock playlists are my favourites. They make me feel so much better. I listen to my Black Dog playlist to help me let it all out and cope.
Linkin Park helps me a lot because they have many different genres. Some songs are calm and in other songs I can scream and let out all the bad emotions.
Music Is always something I've appreciated. No matter how stressed or deppresed I am music puts me at peace. It gives me a feeling I cant explain that nothing does. It even helps my tics stop (Tourettes) which is great. I have a playlist of relaxing music that I play before going to bed. It relieves all stress from the day and helps me sleep
as a music lover and songwriter, i find what is explained in the video 100% true. music has helped me more than anything and anyone else to take whatever came in stride because i managed to create something positive from a negative experience, or even from an experience that was positive itself. i managed to create something harmonious from chaos and that helped me to understand myself better, to name my emotions and to break them down so that they won't be too heavy to be carried. music is, in my opinion, our inner voice, and letting it out (even just by listening to cerain songs, like this video stresses) sooths the mind and the soul because we feel deeply connected to it. last but not least, i wholeheartedly thank you for this brilliant video, i loved it. cheers x
Three Days Grace are a great band to listen to to calm anxiety. Their lyrics always make me feel better. The best songs are: The End Is Not The Answer: (“you and I are in this together, don’t you give up ever. Cause the end is not the answer.”) Never Too Late: (“now and again we try to just stay alive. Maybe we’ll turn it all around cause it’s not too late. It’s never too late.”) Pain: (“I know that you’re wounded. You know that I’m here to save you. you know that I’m here to save you. You know I’m always here for you. I know that you’ll thank me later.”) Life Starts Now: (“You will survive this somehow because life starts now.”) The Real You: (“I will never give up on you. I see the real you. Even if you don’t, I do.”)Some others I really like are: So What I LiedGet Out AliveGive Me A ReasonOn My OwnLast To KnowMisery Loves My Company World So ColdCar Crash I REALLY suggest listening to their music.
Get scared, my chemical romance, and sleeping with sirens make me feel like someone really understands and are connecting to me through the lyrics. Pop music makes me sad because of the feeling of being alone in my depression while everyone is happy, social, and energetic That's how I feel atleast
I have depression and anxiety but I think that screamo really helps me. There are feelings that I don't feel comfortable expressing and it makes me feel better to hear others yelling out their feelings and views without a care of what people will think. I pretend I'm the one screaming sometimes and it really helps haha
Hey! Could you guys please make a video about Synesthesia? I have it, and basically it's something that lets me to see the music (see the sound and the colours of the melody), smell it, taste it, feel the temperature and the shape of it. Sometimes I can also hear the music of an abstract painting. I would love to have more informations about it, but no one was really able to explain me how does it works. I would really appreciate it!
Music keeps me away from my thoughts, and I'm so happy that music exists. It helped me through a hard time, yk? By the way, for me, metalcore relaxes me more than harmonic music does. I don't know why.
I used to write my feelings down and then throw the paper away, but in 8th grade and 7th grade, people took my papers and read them and I was traumatized. Now I don’t have a methodical getting my feelings out and it SUCKS
You should continue writing your feelings down, its a great way to vent and get out your emotions! Instead of trowing them away, you could do somehing else with them? Maybe keep them hidden to see your progress over the weeks, months and years, or shred them beyond recognition, or paint over it so you can no longer read. All the best :)
I don't listen to music a lot unless it's in the car but I really like listening to music since I feel immersed and it makes me think different things (both positive and negative). My style is Hip Hop, Pop, Electronic, movie/tv themes (usually Superheros and Star Wars. They also make me like songs I usually wouldn't like), and some songs from multiple different genres.
What about if you constantly listen to Twenty Øne Pilots, My Chemical Romance, Panic! At The Disco, and Fall Out Boy? When I listen to these songs I always remember there somebody out there like me. I'm not alone.
I love listening to meaningful songs and up until last June-August the only songs I would listen to were sad ones with strong meaning they made me feel better and motivated and less alone I onlystarted lustenong to more happy songs more frequently in September so now my playlist is happy, hype and sad all mixed together and all of them help me in a way I've had depression for 3 years now (nearly 2 years straight then 5 months when it got better but then I relapsed) and music is the main thing keeping me going it was there for me from the beginning and it's still here with me everyday I've lost all my emotions except anger and nothingness for the 1st year & a half but music helps me release the emotions I didn't know I was holding and it's still helping me rediscover them till now I can't really let myself cry so it builds up then bursts like a dam but I cry so easily when it comes to music I can just listen to a song that has a sad message, tone or I relate to it for the 1st time and end up crying my eyes out (only when I'm alone) Music has saved me tbh I don't thonk i would even be alive without music both mentally and physically just a zombie in human's clothing with a smile faker than the McDonalds ads

I've been going threw a lot of stress and anxiety the past few weeks. I've been having and anxiety attacks and have been fainting about twice a day, and afterwards I don't know where I am or who I am. I need help, and possibly an explanation of what the he'll is happening to me. I've talked to teachers and friends, and most of them tell me to relax more, and some say to stop being so dramatic. They thing I do it for attention, and if that's how people look at me, I just want to end my life. Please, somebody help me.
Dough Nations hi :3 I'm here for you to talk to if you need to ^^ just, do you think you could explain a bit more :? like what exactly do you mean you don't know who or where you are after you faint-
Amanda N.K thanks ^^ just, I have a really depressed friend group, that also has a few psychological problems as well, including myself somewhat, so I'm kinda used to things like this, and so I try to help wherever I can as much as I can :3
Upbeat Music gives me a sense of hope. One of the best in my feelings music for me is the force theme. I love staring into the night sky in my garden while listening to it. But the problem is once I take my headphones out I feel like all my problems come rushing back, but it does reduce the pain slowly. Even with all of the things happening there is still a chance that I can be great ! Hang in there. Life will get better. I know it will. إن شاء الله
I wish you won't choose to end your life, but make it better for your sake. It's really sad I can't be there to help or do anything for that matter, but just know there's tons of people out there who wouldn't want you to end your life just like that. If there isn't, then maybe an initiative should be taken to find them and make new goodhearted friends and acquaintances. I may be talking big but Life. Matters. A life is precious, irreplaceable and you only get to live it once. (And if you believe in reincarnation, then why would you only wait for the new one when you can change now?) Even if the rules implemented in life is unfair and unjust, just know that maybe the afterworld would be different and everything would be returned equally. I know one way to deter from ending your life, it's by helping others that are going through way worse with no ill will. If someone's poor sleeping on the street, try to give them some food to eat even if it's as tiny a donation as a grain of rice. Millions suffer the same thing you do, and billions are better off than you, and billions are experiencing worser things than you. Just always understand you're not alone on your problem and it's healthier to overcome it like a proud warrior in those history textbooks and storybooks. Much love from me💕💘

ohh yeah same here!! I enjoy blink-182, sum 41, green day, but the band who helps me the most is bowling for soup. idk why
idk I just love bands a lot w̸ you named my top 3 fav bands. Green Day, Blink182 and Sum 41 are great!
when I'm depressed I listen very sad music.
Same.. and some suicide songs too
Actually other studies show negative music doesn’t only help negative emotions.

♡ Not recommended for children under 20 . Keep a journal of your emotions.
♡if you have awareness of damages, you feel bad about what the other people say.
♡ Curse for an hour. I swear without a break . God , I'm sorry for swearing . Please forgive me .
I blamed you. I admit it.
It's hard to fix all at once.
I'll try to reduce it little by little.
Give me 100 days.and teach me what I don't know. I eat little food.
♡Take the concept with Jungbub
Why I'm angry
Don't blame others
♡ Whether it's the car or the house. take a Pringles cookie box and put cotton in it and curse it or hate words.
1 liter of water. Paper towel.
♡do it once a month.
You can only do it 3 times
This is disappeared to me
Ex)depression, paranoia.
Anger control disorder.

RavenChan same. Although it's in a different language, the Korean music is a lot more meaningful than Western pop
I find it funny that I was listening to music while I got this notification.

😂 Coincidence
I listen to music in the morning to make my mood better and to not feel alone and cancel out "the voices" that I might have so thank you for explaining why that happens!
It’s subjective. Metal literally relaxes me. I have an easier time sleeping to metal than other genres.
It's definitely subjective, you just have to find what works for you.

I agree. For me Linkin Park is one of the best to sleep to.
@@crazycatlady1988 Linkin Park is the best!!!
I love it when people scream in songs or slow beat with raw voice, beat
drop/ when people are close to crying and a bit of techno
I love music. I listen to it everyday. Mostly slow or calm music. I have a playlist on here of some of my favorite songs.

Music does help
Which music do you listen to?
Psych2Go lil peep, blackbear, phora, lil happy lil sad 🙂
Fortknight Poop do u listen nothing, nowhere?
i feel like if your sad and or depressed sometimes it's okay to listen to sad or depressing music to have something to relate to or to help cry and get it all out but i am no professional this is just a personal point of view
When I started writing music It gave me something to do, it got me away from harmful thoughts even though it’s about my anxiety, depression, and hard times in life it’s better to get it out. Like therapy.
I listen to rain and thinderstorn sounds to lower my anxiety
Same! Those are my favorite!
Music has saved my life on multiple occasions. I honestly don't where I would be without music.
Music is more than dancing. It helps in depression and with music you can blend off all bad things around you. thanks for this video
I listen to metal to help me feel good.
i listen to some metal too
I listen to Scarlxrd. If you don't know him, he's like if rap and heavy metal had a baby
ICARUSxRISING some people take drugs, others need medicaments and You, you listen to music. So you are unable to feel good if there is no music in your life. That is really sad
K. R. how is it sad?
many, many people listen to music to feel better. This was literally proven in this video.
Metal music helps me vent sometimes
When I feel bad I listen to angry and hard rock music. There is a strange comfort in venting all of your stresses and built up anger. Songs like Aneurysm by Nirvana and Lounge Act are the best.
I always found listening to extreme music to be more relaxing for me. While the process of listening to it might be tiring, as it makes me really energetic, the end result, when I put my headphones down is always cathartic. It leaves me feeling calm, relaxed and collected. It also alleviates me from stress and anxiety and keeps me going throughout the day.
How did a 4 min video manage to bring back so many memories and make me break down in tears

Thank you for sharing, stay strong and keep trying! We wish you all the best
Music was literally my everything as I grew up. It helped me focus on my homework, it made me smile when everyone else made me cry, it was my motivation and inspiration for everything. I'm only alive now because of the melody, the lyric, the artist
Metal always tends to help me because it’s intense and passionate in whatever emotion it’s showing, and although also there is some music that I associate with bad memories and for a while I didn’t know that that was the reason that made it hard to listen to them
I do have depression and I do like to write my own music and read the lyrics and sing the songs, musicians that often help me feel better are Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Chris Brown, and lots more that I can't remember but these people really helped so I give a big thanks to them
Jordyn Hill I write my own music as well, I personally love twenty one pilots, Queen, one direction, and bts
I feel happy and a lot more stronger in overcoming my depression by listening to my favourite music.
hawaii grubby hyung Same! BTS has really strong lyrics in their songs and their songs can change my mood into a good mood. Im so glad to be an ARMY.

Playing a musical instrument also REALLY relaxes you. All the times I felt sad and I played my traversal flute, it NEVER failed to make me feel better

2. Eat
3. Music 24/7
4. Sleep

Now it said more intense music wasn’t that good, Idk i guess dubstep and all that is pretty intense xD but i really love dubstep, dubstep instrumental etc, but i also like sad songs without anyone singing!
Music is truly a powerful source of emotion.
this comment section makes me feel like i belong. thank you

Rock and metal music calms me down.
Let the music heal your soul!

I’m deaf af thanks to blasting music 24/7 take that depression.
I really enjoy music, whether it's listening or playing it. No matter how slow, fast, loud, intense, or any genre, I always feel good around it.
Music really helps with Anxiety especially music like Fall out boy, Panic! At the disco, and Twenty øne piløts

Actually music helps me through bad times , I listen to music so much and it helps me , I don't know if I got depression but I got some symptoms of it , music means a lot for me.
Listen to music EVERYDAY. Goes to show how anxious i can get
I've not been diagnosed but I display most symptoms of anxiety and I often find listening to one of my favourite songs from a musical helps. In it, the character singing has a panic attack (Michael In The Bathroom from Be More Chill) and I often find listening to it and singing along can help me vent and feel a bit better, then listen to something happy to boost my mood. :)
Thank you I like this
When ever I am depressed or having anxiety i listen to music and i feel much better by listening to the words and the beat.
I find depressing music just taps into something. It helps release some of the more intense depressive emotions. It's cathartic. For me anyway x
Because of the minds
Love music. Music really helps my depression and anxiety, I listen to it everyday & all day.
Like twenty one pilots and stuff really helps because the beats are really steady and it calms me down and makes me less anxious

its fills the silence and helps you feel like you're not apart of the situation
When am having a bad day and I’m listening to music, some songs trigger my anxiety and make me have the biggest panic attacks. Especially “Breathe me” by Sia. I do love the song tho
Listening on metal after a long day of stress is one the great feeling
When I listen to music I feel really happy
if music didnt exist..
i would be a mess right now..
it helps me calms down
forget my bad memories and
it really just helps me
I was 13 when my Anxiety got really bad. And 14 when I started to listen to music almost everyday. I love it. I listen to it when I work out.
I can easily relax with the soothing sounds of screams and clashing drums any day
I just wanted to say how accurate this is I have severe depression and music has helped me loads though certain situations
I love it thank you for posting it. Stay amazing 💕
Thanks for watching Luna! :)
im sometimes really anxious and listening to music helps, but its interesting that even if i listen mostly to dubstep, which can be fast paced and agressive, doesnt make anything worse.
I find that heavy metal and kpop help a lot when I'm feeling anxious or depressed because it's what I love, it's comforting to me somehow.
If you have awareness of damages, you feel bad about ,what the other people say.

I think that listening to soft and sad music when depressed is actually rly helpful because it’s like the song understands
I listen to varied types of metal to calm myself. And video game music. You know, that 'fast paced stuff' that's supposed to stress you out?
Calm music does nothing. And I'd rather kill myself than listen to pop.
Listening to pop throws me right back into depression and even deeper than before.
Same. And thrashing around to metal songs always helps me get some anger out

If you have awareness of damages, you feel bad about, what the other people say.
I would like to help you ~

Linkin Park music is my favorite
They're awesome.
It even helps my tics stop
(Tourettes) which is great. I have a playlist of relaxing music that I play before going to bed. It relieves all stress from the day and helps me sleep
Music is amazing
as a music lover and songwriter, i find what is explained in the video 100% true. music has helped me more than anything and anyone else to take whatever came in stride because i managed to create something positive from a negative experience, or even from an experience that was positive itself. i managed to create something harmonious from chaos and that helped me to understand myself better, to name my emotions and to break them down so that they won't be too heavy to be carried.
music is, in my opinion, our inner voice, and letting it out (even just by listening to cerain songs, like this video stresses) sooths the mind and the soul because we feel deeply connected to it.
last but not least, i wholeheartedly thank you for this brilliant video, i loved it.
cheers x
I have adhd and S A D and I listen to $uicideboy$ all day.
$uicideboy$ helps with my depression

I always make sure I have my headphones with me at all times 24/7 because I listen to music everywhere
Shiloh Blackwood I agree they’re a really good band
Get scared, my chemical romance, and sleeping with sirens make me feel like someone really understands and are connecting to me through the lyrics. Pop music makes me sad because of the feeling of being alone in my depression while everyone is happy, social, and energetic
That's how I feel atleast
first name last name you have a really good taste in music 👍
Cheez Whiz With Sirens thanks
Panic! at the disco and twenty øne pilots really helps me
Moongold same
I have depression and anxiety but I think that screamo really helps me.
Amelia Quintero 🖤You've got a great choice of music 🎶
Clorox Is Dope thanks 💙
I love listening to meaningful songs and up until last June-August the only songs I would listen to were sad ones with strong meaning they made me feel better and motivated and less alone
I onlystarted lustenong to more happy songs more frequently in September so now my playlist is happy, hype and sad all mixed together and all of them help me in a way
I've had depression for 3 years now (nearly 2 years straight then 5 months when it got better but then I relapsed) and music is the main thing keeping me going it was there for me from the beginning and it's still here with me everyday
I've lost all my emotions except anger and nothingness for the 1st year & a half but music helps me release the emotions I didn't know I was holding and it's still helping me rediscover them
till now I can't really let myself cry so it builds up then bursts like a dam but I cry so easily when it comes to music I can just listen to a song that has a sad message, tone or I relate to it for the 1st time and end up crying my eyes out (only when I'm alone)
Music has saved me tbh I don't thonk i would even be alive without music both mentally and physically just a zombie in human's clothing with a smile faker than the McDonalds ads

You can manipulate your mood by choosing precise music .
I listen to alot of rap/hip-hop as I feel like I can relate to what their saying and makes me feel less alone
Hey, mind if i ask a personal question? I need somebody to talk to
I've been going threw a lot of stress and anxiety the past few weeks.
Dough Nations hi :3 I'm here for you to talk to if you need to ^^ just, do you think you could explain a bit more :? like what exactly do you mean you don't know who or where you are after you faint-
Bard of Space
That's really sweet of you.
Amanda N.K thanks ^^ just, I have a really depressed friend group, that also has a few psychological problems as well, including myself somewhat, so I'm kinda used to things like this, and so I try to help wherever I can as much as I can :3
Talk to me when needed. Sc vfaith116
إن شاء الله
I like listening to music really loud (with my headphones) so I don't hear my mind always telling me to end my life...

When you have experienced depression for years, sometimes rage and a bit of anxiety can reanimate you from a brief "depressed lapsus" when you need to stay focused or do something important.
