    Would you recommend the steam and crisp for fries instead of the air fry function?

    • @aberdeenmeadows
      @aberdeenmeadows 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would not if they are frozen. I tried that with tots and total disaster.

    Just made this. Super simple and tasted great. Thank you for taking the time to make the videos. Since my ninja didn’t come with an instruction manual, and I’ve never cooked anything other than toast, you’re really helping me explore outside of the “air fry” function. I appreciate it.

    My first ever use on an air fryer was this dish. Everyone approved. Thanks for sharing! I did notice on the u.k model that the options are named and ordered differently, but soon got around it.

    Thanks again James! We are taking our speedi on vacation to save money as it has gotten so expensive eating out. FYI yes we are driving lol.

      I so agree. As a single person I was buying these ready-to-heat meals at nearly $20 each. I am getting used to cooking meat in the Speedi but sides are awesome. Better for you to cook as restaurant food is very unhealthy as loaded with fat.

    Do you have a cookbook? Are your recipes in written form anywhere? Do you think this will work with Daikon Radishes instead of potatoes? We recently found your channel, and love that you have found (and shared) so many ways to use this monster machine!

    James, thank you! I love seeing how to use all the functions on the Speedi other than Rapid Cook as I bought this to replace my slow cooker.
    One question, can I add Brussels Sprouts, baby carrots or broccoli to cook with the potatoes with the same time or varied?
    I love cooking sides in the Speedi. Thanks.

    • @CookinWithJames
      @CookinWithJames  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks. Yes you can add same time. Add a little more liquid

    I have one of these... I am dumbfounded as to why they didn't include some kind of too to lift the crisping tray out? They must have thought of it while designing it.... IDK???

    • @CookinWithJames

      Ya. Use the steam and crisp function on 350 degrees. Maybe 25 minutes or so. Cook to internal temperature of 165 degrees
