After a lifetime of wanting bagged, or at least lowered vehicles I just in the last month dropped my little lancer. Ricer I know, but it looks clean on them little 18s. Now I just need to get me another blazer, or an S10 and put it on the pavement. Anyways, long way of saying I dig the channel and am now subbed. Keep killin it!

If you do a flip on this body style without the hanger swap how low would that be? Right now my truck has 2” shackles in the rear how low would just the flip kit leave it basically with factory hanger and 2” drop shackles?
Question: I have a 2011 that’s lowered 2/4 I want it raised back up, rear is flipped with rear hangers and shackles, can I put a stock hanger and shackle to raise it up some without new leafs back on top?
So if i put it on the top hole on drop shackles with a flip kit notch shock extenders, what in drop would that be and would it be fine? I got a mcgaughys 5/7 adjustable kit
@@MrRodriguez918 pretty much all these trucks if it’s lower than 7 in the rear I do wheels tubs in the bed unless they are running small tires….what size tire are you currently running?
Right on truck looks sick so I have a question I had 2/4 drop on 2010 Silverado but I want to lower rear to a 6 inch drop would I just have to get 6 inch drop hanger?? And for the front I have 2 inch spindles what can get me 1-2 inch more of drop

@@lowerclassfab431 yeah man i remember the TT blocks from one of your previous vids. I’ve got the same street performance shocks as this truck. Will a shock relocation prevent the shocks from bottoming out once i go shackle and drop block? Don’t mean to ask a bunch of questions, and I’ve done some research on my own, but i don’t have anybody with a lowered NNBS down here in Savannah to get a definite answer from.
If you do a step notch and move the upper mounts up it will work but just the shock extenders are only good for about 9 inches of drop with those shocks

That would be 9 inches total…flip kit is 7 and shackles are 2…you would need a notch, shock extenders and drop shocks for sure

Do you need larger u bolts when doing a 6in flip kit with 2in block in the back , if so where can I find some for these model trucks

No that will actually lower it…if you go back to a stock hanger and shackle that would be a 7 inch drop

Flip kit alone is 7…add shackles in top hole that would be 9…you will definitely need shock extenders and a notch
@lowerclassfab431 It's rubbing in the front I dropped it no rings. What can I do to help it not rub when I turn
It's also rubbing in the back wheel well. Would you recommend me do tubs or just buy regular shackles and put it at 7 in in the back

Change the rear hanger to the 6 inch setting with a stock shackle….front will need a drop strut

You have to build a crossmember for the carrier bearing to sit on

Do the drop shackle to get to 9 then do a drop block….you can get a set made to use with a flip kit from Trick’d Toys on facebook
