I have gone through several videos for Brachial plexus examination and accidentally stumbled on this video. An excellent detailed video with most needed audio inputs. I feel this video has to be included in the teaching syllabus of Postgraduate Orthopedics education. So amazing and thankyou Dr.G.Karthikeyan. I would like to highlight a fine point which i learnt in this video. Testing the tone of DIP joint while testing FDS to check whether FDP is also acting or not AND many more finer points. Great work sir. Please make such great video with ample finer specific points targeting the specialist doctor audience. Dr.Subbu
Wow... excellent demonstration...you have done a wonderful work.... could not find any other teaching videos on bracheal plexus injury as good as this...hatsoff doctor....🙏

That is because, in pre-ganglionic lesion, there is no proximal end of the nerve available, so there is no proximal neuroma. In a postganglionic lesion, there will be a proximal cut end, and a neuroma will develop and cause swelling in the supraclavicular region.
or you could just order the newer type of MRI brachial plexus which is mri of the brachial plexus nerves. That is how they saw I have pseudomeningocele
In time line 1.21 you have mentioned paralysis of paraspinal muscles means it is a post ganglionic injury. I feel you are wrong. Paralysis of cervical paraspinal muscles occur in preganglionic brachial plexus injury. Am i right?
Thank you for pointing out the typographical error. It was wrongly typed as postganglionic, but when I spoke, I said it is preganglionic lesion. Thank you.
Wow, thank you you've made my understanding of brachial plexus too easy.
