Exactly! It's gets sort of comedic when the patient is actually answering with affirmation BEFORE the doctor even tests for sensation sometimes! He goes "yep" before he's given the stimulus. Wouldn't happen if he closed his eyes.
@@Hinata.Sakaguchi i actually googled him, he is currently a medical student, worked in a hospital before, and had some published papers.. he is following his dreams..

The strength test can give a false result. If the patient is considerably stronger or weaker then you you will not be able to accurately determine loss of strength. A bodybuilder that is 10 times stronger than you may have lost half her strength, but are still five times stronger than you. Conversely an elderly patient who has no loss of strength may still appear to have lost strength when in fact they didn't.
Why for proprioception do you work proximally in and for pin prick and light touch you work distally out? can you lose sensation in your arm without losing it in your fingers
If the patient is complaining of pain, like left shoulder pain, how can I examin the tone of the left upper limb and how should I present such case. I am a medical student.
And you saw fit to comment on this video for that question? I'm sorry, but these comments seen to be memes and jokes. Also, try moving the left shoulder around to test for rigidity or stiffness.
