  • In this video, Dr Oscar Brumby-Rendell takes us through a comprehensive brachial plexus examination.
The aim of this video is to demonstrate a systematic approach to an examination, typically injured from a tractional type industry, lateral to the roots of the neck, or a high traumatic scenario like a car accident.
We will also go over the myotomes and dermatomes of the cervical spine which is more commonly a spinal injury assessment, which is performed rapidly.
Specific equipment for this examination includes a tendon hammer to elicit the tendon reflexes whilst performing the examination.
