Picked up a Ford 9" rear end, Complete with Wishbone, Axles and brakes from Brent @ Pitbull in Louisville, KY back in Sept. I paid him half up front and he had it ready in 5 days, I drove down from Michigan to pick it up in an Equinox and to visit family etc. Cost me 2 tanks of fuel and the rear end. Worth the $$ His Wish bone mounts like a Y-Bar, better design IMO. Willkeep that rear end Centered perfectly. I also went to a Taller 2.75 Ring and pinion to make up for my 13's spinning my engine so high in the RPMs @ 70mph. This should make the car much relaxed on the highway and run cooler as well. I have a 350sbc and Turbo350 trans. Love watching your progree brother. Keep it up!
Hey bro, you most certainly can have a ebrake with a high lockup. I’ve seen a few guys do that exact thing with telescopic cylinders. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel 👊🏻👊🏻
Awesome videos keep them going it'll help me out with my 63 Impala... question should I box my rear frame in if I'm just building a cruiser on full air ride with a mild SBC 350?
Hey Louis, If your just cruising with air ride than it’s just my personal opinion that you shouldn’t need to box the rear frame. If you had 800-1,000 lbs in the trunk, than that’s a different story. Hope that helps bro. Take care👊🏻👊🏻
I was just thinking about the e-brake elimination...with foot pedal ebrake, I literally never use it, would never miss it. When driving a manual with a handle ebrake, I use it all the time. I used to live in Japan and there people would pop the shifter into neutral (with a manual) at every stop light and pull the ebrake. Then clutch, in gear, and drop the ebrake as they're taking off...very useful for stopping on inclines as well
I know this video is old but would know how tall the roof is from the ground with the 3 high bricks and 4x4 going across my garage isn't high like new houses want to sew if your setup would work for me
Unfortunately, the car is no longer on the bricks and 4 x 4’s. But I do have it on a bodycart. Which was my last video. They are roughly about the same height. I am on vacation right now, but when I return home, I will take a measurement for you and let you know. Thank you for watching the show.
Bro, I am learning so much from your videos. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the great work.
Always 👊🏻🤙🏻

Awesome drive man, so for the hardtop 64’s its just 8 body bolts to separate the body from the chassis? Besides the drive train obvious
Yep that’s correct. Thanks for watching! 👊🏻
Hey, Billy...
I'm chasing your progress with great tips as I just bought a 62. Question...why no shocks? Is that front and front and rear?
Mark
Hello, I’m using hydraulics on the car. So shocks are not really a priority for me. Best of luck with the project. Thanks for the support.
@@gemcitywelding7234 oh , I know. I've just seen juiced cars here with shocks
Thanks for all the great videos

I’m going with a PitBull rear end on mine Brent does awesome work Pitbull Hydraulics 😁👍
Yes he does!! I’m sure someday that’s the route I’ll probably take.

Nice bro, keep us posted with your project, i also have a project, one year already and still not closed to finish
I will!! Thanks.
👍🏼💯
I just came across your channel. Looking forward to having another 64 in Ohio. Do you have an IG account?
I do! @gemcitywelding. Thanks for watching! 👊🏻
if you want to 3 wheel then you need to reinforce the frame completely. trust me. those arches will give then the body lines will start having gaps
It’ll be 100% boxed. 😎
Nice work
