    The welding dictates the length of grind time... cleaner uniform welds means less time grimding. If it takes 2 weeks to mold this, something wasnt to par, whether it be a skill issue, or a tool issue. Definitely looks killer, not saying this as hate, or to take anything away, because it looks incredible

    Thanks for posting these videos. It's helping the low rider community to reach our goals. One question I have. Can you still 3 wheel with the rear shocks? I like the idea of extending the mounts. Does the car ride better with the rear shocks? Silly question but I have to ask.

    • @lonestarlows

      Yes still 3 wheels, the shocks do improve the ride, but its not going to ride like a stock suspension car.

  • @balanis03
    @balanis03 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is there a specific reason why you went with a y-bone as compared to a wishbone??? Also when you got the motor and trans did you do anything to it before mounting it or did it have low miles and just put it in place???

    • @RedRocket64
      @RedRocket64 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ben Alanis wishbone is typically used for longer trailing arms/high lockup’s and massive 3 wheels which looks good but I’m personally not into that. The Pitbull y bone is proven and can achieve standing 3 wheel on both sides with good height and super is easy install.

    • @balanis03
      @balanis03 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      John Bro did you tear down the motor and trans??? Im sure it had low miles but im looking at a LS2 with either a 4l60-4l80??? I figured id at least rebuild trans and look for a motor with under 90k

    • @RedRocket64
      @RedRocket64 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ben Alanis it had super low miles when I got it, around 3k, ls2 is a monster, great engine, 4l60 fits with no modifications to tunnel, but is not as durable as a 4l80, as you may have seen in the videos, the tunnel will need some work with the 4l80/6l80

    • @balanis03
