I love seeing other states doing this no offense but love seeing a white man interested assuming your pigmently impaired into lowriders at least it’s still alive in Albuquerque on sundays we used to have central bumper to bumper but because of crime police put a stop to cruising wich really hurt the culture and drugs also hurt the culture big time I personally can’t afford a toy anymore it’s a hobby of love work and investment I still have the lowlow but I can’t afford to redo it much less drive and maintenance on a v8 400 cid Pontiac 74 lemans lol good memories tho
If I lived closer and knew of you when you were posting I would offer to sell you my pumps/motors working old school but not the first iteration lol could hop but I used to just do basic shhh up down side side type stuff but they are so heavy shipping would be beast mode they can’t be worth that much to pay for shipping and see any type of return but it is what it is
Could a hydrolic electric motor be used as a generator? I ain’t electrically in the know lol but my old 74 lemans just rusting away and the pumps and motors are all good still trying to find a new life cuz I’ll never see the bands i put into them I’d sell but wouldn’t know we’re to start thanks in advance
I could check to see if any local shops in burque would want some oldy school pumps but idk
Sweet car!! Hydrolics and all!!!
Nice vehicle
Since this is a small welding job would my miller 141 work it says up to 3/16” don’t know if it’ll require more heat?

Generally liked your video very much, thank you. Good review and thoughts. However, tip for future videos: your audio gets quieter in the second half, so I would remove the music entirely from that part of the video. That way you're much easier to hear.

How do you make the cylinder move freely
Good luck ,mine lasted for about 1 month. 0 output . Turns on but no arc.
So i seen a video were u were welding sheet metal to the frame why did u do this and so they sell the peaces or will i have to make my own templates
Did you gotta put it at a certain degree for the powerball
I “tilted” them forward a degree or two to help with the cylinder shaft at full lockup. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
@@gemcitywelding7234 thanks bro 😎I’m building one just like yours from the frame up
@@Junior81c10 awesome!!! Send me some build pics sometime and I’ll share it on the channel 💪🏻

I know all of the pain you're talking about with the floor pan. I bought a clone...it was only $5500 canadian. But there were no seat brackets or console mounts and the powerglide was rigged in with no linkages. I had to patch the floor and figure it all out. I swapped to a t350 and had to remount the floor shifter. Buying all the brackets and shifter adapters made me hate my car. The shifter hole looks like it was cut with a fireman's axe or a ball pain hammer 😂. Good job on the build. Take your time with the seat brackets. There is no nice way to mount them. P.s. the holes are where the bench studs come through.
Ahh that makes sense with the holes. Thanks for the kind words. And thanks for watching the show 👊🏻👊🏻
Can i run the g body ball joints on a 66 impala ? Do i gotta modify the spindle.?
I honestly have no idea. Hit up your local hydraulic shop or reach out to guys like Cadillac Dan or Max from the chop for the correct answer. Thanks for watching the show.

Awesome video, I just finished my floor pan on the 63, I was wondering what was your measurements for the rear seat brackets are I need to do mine but have no idea where to mount them, also can't wait for your welding video...
Thank you. I’ll get some measurements to you.
@@gemcitywelding7234 thanks brotha
@@ol_skate_7023so, from the leading edge of my replacement floor pan to the center of each brackets is 12 3/4”. And centered from top to bottom. Hope that helps.

Another trick I used when I blasted to save threads is duct tape but with the smooth side against the threads, so the sticky side is out. When done blasting the tape pulls off nice. Also if you did sticky side on the threads put at least 3 layers.
Good point!
Great video bro!! Make sure you check out the mod videos on that spot media blaster to make it work way better.
Will do!
Not sure about impala but 69 camaros if you order a 4 speed the shifter hole was tourch cut from the factory
Wow! That’s insane. I had no idea.
Everytime I go to Harbor freight I try to buy a pair of clamps you can never have enough clamps
Me too lol. Cant beat em.
I'm getting ready to do the same thing on my 62. Thanks for the video. I was wondering... how did you figure where to place the floor braces before you set the floor in?
You’re welcome! Yeah unfortunately I’ll have to “install” the pan and make the outline of the braces and then remove the pan to drill the plug holes. Kind of a pain but part of the process. Best of luck with your floor pan!
@gemcitywelding7234 oh sorry, let me clarify. My braces aren't mounted on inners rockers (they're sitting in my trunk, lol). I was wondering how you figured their position on the inner rockers. Just curious of your process.
@@stizolac I’ll be 100% honest with you. I’ve never done rockers or floor braces on a car like this. If it was me at home I would turn the floor upside down lay the braces on the floor make sure they are even or “square“ to the edge of the floor pan, tack in place and test fit into the car. You can always make adjustments from there. You can buy the floor pan with the braces in place already. And it is possible to drop that floor into the car with no modification. I don’t know how this could be any different. Look up Guzzi fabrication on TH-cam and watch the floor pan videos for the 62,63,64. I hope that helps.
Or you can install the floor pan and lay underneath the car, hold them in place and tack them to the floor. That way you know they are perfectly square with the floor and rocker panel.
@gemcitywelding7234 thanks homie. I was planning something like that. Was thinking to replace floor while body is on frame and then braces while on rotisserie. I don't trust my upside down welding lol
I'm glad you showed the seats. I'm going to put buckets out of s 62 Olds Cutless in my 63 Biscayne project. I hope that the GM seats are close to the same.

Hi, I got a frame-question. Do you know if the back of your frame (the area from the rear axle and back) is the same angle as the center of the frame? Lets say if you would place a spirit level on the ”X” of the frame and it is perfectly leveled would the back sides of the frame (under the rear quarters of the body) be the same angle? The reason I’m asking is that I just bought a -62 frame that has been C-notched over the rear axle and I woner if the back has been bent in the rear. Thank you for great videos! Love your work!😇👍
That’s how you fixed up a Lowrider old-school That’s right bro that’s right
