Hey thank you Peter!!! We actually tried to address the leak in the 13-16s from the roof rack locations with this video here: th-cam.com/video/xqx2liD22oA/w-d-xo.html
Hey I did some research on this today. Seems like there is a quick way and a right way. The right way would be to lower the tank, put a 12v jumper to the fuel pump relay in the fuse box, and then use an extension hose to use the gas tank fuel pump to push all the bad fuel into a collection container. You'd get it as dry as the pump can pull I guess so not 100% of the fuel. If you're lowering the tank i guess you may as well see if you can get in there and let it evaporate and dry out maybe.. The other fast way would be to try the fill assist funnels for our auto shutting gas port flaps- it basically holds the door open and then you could maybe run a hose down that funnel and draw out what you can if you can get it into the tank. There are transfer pumps mounted to gas jugs or collection jugs that you can get on Amazon but I don't know how much you'd be able to get out.
@HowToEscapeDIYTipsandReviews thanks, I already tried the siphon method going into the filler neck, and apparently, there's a little grate or somethin near the end of it that makes it impossible to siphon that way.
Love your vids. Will you ever make one on fixing the common roof rack water leak into the headliner?

Its been a few years since posting it but give a shout if you have any questions!
Man, really love the vids and some have already helped me out a lot. Any chance you would consider an upgrade to the steering wheel?
Hey thanks! We have a tutorial on a swap from the molded steering wheel to the higher trim leather wrapped wheel if thats what you mean?
Here's the link to the upgrade video: th-cam.com/video/t87pIMCqegs/w-d-xo.html
@@HowToEscapeDIYTipsandReviews Sorry, was not clear on that. I meant an upgrade to the newer type of steering wheel that is in later models.
Is there gonna be a video on how to drain old/bad gas? I really need to know and can't find anything online on how to do this to a 2013 ford Escape.
