The new leadership in Washington has done so much better with contracts than the last regime did. The Dan Snyder-era Redskins/WFT had some bad free agent signings (Albert Haynesworth getting paid $100 million in the mid 2000s to completely suck being the most glaring example) while this era Commanders signed Bobby Wagner on a prove it deal and he has already done more than what Haynesworth did in a Washington uniform.
I don't know if 1 year contracts count here, but Mekhi Beckton on a $2.75m salary has been a beast for the Eagles at guard. And then you left out Zack Baun who ended up being an All Pro with the Eagles - that's a pretty big omission.

It used to be around 3 yards per carry was normal, now you can see 3.7 to 5.
Its because passing is so much more valuable. Every single team has a higher yards per pass attempt than Henry does yards per carry. Not yards per reception, yards per attempt. So even including the incompletes, passing generates more yards per attempt on every team, than Henry gets per carry. If anything, good running is most valuable because it makes your passing better by forcing the defense to be honest.

@@pacificbanana6179passing has just been made way easier and for effective across the board over the last decade and a half. The Cousins signing was a big mistake but not because of Kirk's play. He actually had a high quality year. Kirk played against the toughest schedule of defenses of any quarterback in the league. Against those 6 elite defenses his completion percentage and yards per attempt were about 30% above the league average against those teams. That includes his only two bad games Pittsburgh and the Broncos. There was a lack of touchdowns and too many interceptions but many of the interceptions were not on Kirk and a quarterback is not going to throw many touchdowns when they don't allow him to throw in the red zone, or on first down, or second and medium or any other down where it was not an obvious passing situation. When they took the handcuffs off he destroyed the Bucs twice and led three 4th quarter comebacks, which have always been his specialty. His other specialty is going through his progressions. In 2022 he set a record by completing at least 60 passes to 4 different receivers. In 2023 when he was injured he was on a pace to absolutely obliterate that record. In 2024, when he was benched, he was on a pace to break the record again. He was also the only quarterback in the league on a pace to have two 1,000 yard receivers. He was not only completing lots of passes but racking up lots of yards. In fact he was running third in the league in yards. All of that in a run first and only run in the red zone offense. Cousins will find a new home next year and return to his 2023 MVP form. There are plenty of teams out there that know how to use hs immense talents.
Saying Burns during his career has been "good not great" is absurd. He's a 2 time Pro Bowler who's been consistently the best player on some trash Panthers teams.
He's been arguably the Giants' best player this season. It's unreasonable to expect Burns to play like Superman when the only dudes that do that are the guys getting paid more than him.
What’s the West Coast instrumental @08:30? It’s hard.
Saquan was my #1 pick in fantasy. Lets go! Knew he would be a monster. I was the 1.01
I’m not a hawks, commanders or rams fan but Bobby Wagner is an all time great. Imagine if his draft classmate Luke Keuchly stayed healthy.
As a Saints fan, thank you for not even mentioning Zack Baun...since Dennis Allen and Loomis are fools...
you shoulda mentioned brandon jones for the broncos he had 3 int 115 tackles as a safety kinda crazy and he was borderline pro bowler
I'm a Rams fan and Saquon took the last slice of my pizza after I called dibs 😔😔
Cashman did not under perform at all.
