yes I noticed it said stock exhaust, it would be nice too see it tested with a nice quality exhaust on it and see how much that would free up the motor
You what? The EF9 has power steering... It may be hard to see it in the video but the reservoir is right there on the passengers side of the engine bay. So it most defiantly has power steering.
damn i love ef sooo much.. i have really wanted this car.... *sad but my parents wont buy me this piece of art... wish i have my own money and i will definitely buy this car.. FYI in my country the price of an ef9 is about $5978. and im just a student and i cant afford it.
The EE is a different model so its hard to compare them to the EF and Ed's. Its like most things though, in Australia (where I live) we get the ED6 civic, but we get Dual Carbs and no B series option. Honda gave all different variants of their cars out so its sometimes a bit of a gamble as to what was available. But in the video you can see the power steering reservoir there so yeah its got power steering. :) Although not always necessary since its not a heavy car to begin with.
I have had every one of them. They all kick ass. 1x EF hatch 2x EG hatch & fourdoor 3x EK! all coupes I say, EK coupe's Rule. They're more balanced than hatch's.
The EF, ED, EE etc all have the same chassis, they are different cars though because of their configurations. I could convert any ED here to being a EF it just takes money and time. Power steering is nice thats for sure, it makes life easier but its not always needed. I would assume Honda didn't fit it because they felt you guys didn't need it. Its like everything, they give the rest of the world the ok stuff (sometimes what we want), and they get the good things we actually want.
I don't see why Tsuchiya goes on about Body Rigidity when he drives AE86's all the time and loves them and they are a good few years older. ?? Nice car though and still fairly stock, would be nice to see how well it went with a decent manifold and exhaust and a few other choice spoon mods.
You are right, but EF and EE is the same chassis! What means i could import that parts and put it on mine.. Allways thought the B16A1 (A in japan i know..) wasnt availible with. But i drove my EE8 and ED9 without poewersteering and once an EG4. All with coil overs and good tires and the EG with pwr Streering was goodliek to handle in hard corners in the city. Not possible to me without pwr steering.. :/
I love both EF and EG. Also the EK and EP.......It's tough to choose one. I can probably narrow it down to EF, EG, and EK....and from there it gets very difficult...
^^ As I said I would only need it for "racing" daily is okay withpout powersteering to me. But you arent 100% right! You cant make an an ED to a EE/EF without welding -> its custom and never will be an orignial. (engine mounts, frontmask, more struts in chassis) I know its possible but its custom. the difference between EE and EF is only in screwable parts.
man once you get a hatch its hard to go back to integra's/civic coupes etc. Well I dont have an ef hatch I do like them alot. Ive got a eg hatch myself (1994 lowest weight model available the cx) and I can't wait to swap it for summer. What b18 motor did you swap? was it a b18b or b18c?
thats not fairly stock.. the only thing stock IS the exhaust... its got spoon ECU, type R engine, type R brakes, after market springs, spoon intake manifold, and more....
ill have to disagree with you on that! lol. ive owned a ls/vtec 1990 si hatch and i got a 1990 crx dx and i like the way the crx looked better...but dont get me wrong i love all ef's
They're basically re-branded Regamasters with the Spoon logo. Authentic SW388's fetch a lot of money now, you're better off getting some Regamasters or, if you're on a tight budget, get some replicas like the Rota Slipstream or Nippon F-2.
ef9 civics are the king and will never grow old.. im raging i got rid of mine to to buy a dc2-r
I never get tired of watching this vid!!!!
yes I noticed it said stock exhaust, it would be nice too see it tested with a nice quality exhaust on it and see how much that would free up the motor

I got an ef hatch a couple years ago and I love it! I think it looks better than the crx too.
Very nice.
This EF9 has a ITR engine
EF's will always be KING!
damn i love ef sooo much.. i have really wanted this car.... *sad

I find the EF extremely sexy. I want one now.
The ek is a bit wider than eg or ef's so it has more handling capability... Every model has its pros and cons!!
love this video honda power
My toughts: EF and EG6 for fun and TOUGE aswell performance tunning, EK9 and EJ8 for drag and JDM tuning
Man I wish I had my drivers license
You are right, but EF and EE is the same chassis! What means i could import that parts and put it on mine.. Allways thought the B16A1 (A in japan i know..) wasnt availible with.

EG Handles way easier because of power steering :/
Optically i love both and allredy own two EF8 hope to get a EG for track soon^^
Ef is the best body shape and eg is like a fat body egg
^^ As I said I would only need it for "racing" daily is okay withpout powersteering to me.

I would like to know which sway bars this car is running?
this ef9 should run on the touge....it will be a close match with the seeker eg6....awesome ~~~
EE and EF all the way
no se porque a Japon le dicen la nacion del sol naciente, si alli nunca se ve el sol, como en Inglaterra...
Now put B18C into EF8 !!
ill have to disagree with you on that! lol. ive owned a ls/vtec 1990 si hatch and i got a 1990 crx dx and i like the way the crx looked better...but dont get me wrong i love all ef's

What wheels are those? Holy shyte, I want em!
Spoon SW388's. Same basic wheel as the Desmond Regamaster Evo.
They're basically re-branded Regamasters with the Spoon logo. Authentic SW388's fetch a lot of money now, you're better off getting some Regamasters or, if you're on a tight budget, get some replicas like the Rota Slipstream or Nippon F-2.
