Nice review mate. Have an XT5 with the 23mm 1.4 WR lens arriving in a couple of weeks. Can't wait, and can't wait coming back to Melbourne for some fun street & around St Kilda. Cheers.
Super interesting perspective, because I too am considering replacing my X100f for an XT-5, mainly so that it becomes a hybrid doing stills and b-roll. I prefer the pancake lens look on the XT-5, however I believe that it’s a 40mm equivalent. If I choose to go that way I’ll just take a few steps back! 😂 Having said that, I doubt that the emotional feel of my X100f will be easily replaced. Thanks for providing this very helpful content.
Love the video. Some great photos. My only concern is that I believe you were holding a Starbucks coffee cup, I don’t know if I can be friends with anyone who drink that “stuff” 😜
@@kashifswaynerobinson the 18mm f1.4 is a really good lens, excellent image quality. Very sharp. The old 16mm f1.4 is also very good if you can pick up one for a good price.
I love these experience reviews, good work Dan (as always)! And thanks for letting me try the X-T5 for a bit 😁♥️

Nice, that's a great combo I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
I love shooting also in monochrome and across its look more classic nice selection of photos.
Never mind the images look at the lovely dials! Ordered mine today!
The main reason to buy the XT5 😂Hope you enjoy your one!
I used to have the x-t3 then I got bored with it and now shooting with x-pro3 since 2019 and I love that beast of a camera.
Be interested to see what happens with the XPro4
I can’t turn off the little tracking box even though it’s not focusing it’s always locking on to stuff. Any help?

@@danthe_cameraman I would have stayed away even if there was nothing left 😜
What lens was this?
I used a combination of the 23 1.4, 56 1.2 and 40
@@danthe_cameraman I want to pick up the new 56mm f1.2, but the monies is many 🤣. What do you think about the 18mm f1.4?
