Was the last programme in the series in 2000 but upload RTE news reports the late 1970's & early 1980's.

Third and this was the worst programme of the lot! They did not once mention the abortion referenda and went blathering on about the economy all the time. I also am confused by this "modern" thing. All it seems is that liberals used the idea of Europe to make Éire into Ireland. Now, as the sex abuse crisis which is rightfully mentioned and condemned (One shudders to think at such suffering.), it seems to me that by democratic or otherwise methods those elites who wanted it pushed their ideas. We know the whole Celtic Tiger thing was more like a kitten and quite honestly Éire is a pretty abysmal country today (That last shots with the mosque! Oh boy do not make me laugh at the irony.) and instead of holding onto it's promise for her people is just an economic unit where people leave in droves and refugees, illegal aliens and more fill it up (Ireland is as of 2024, 70% Irish (I of course include European Union figures in this.).). What a lovely lovely future. Edit: I must also add that for all the parading regarding Mary Therese Winifred Robinson, there already were female Heads of State in overwhelmingly Catholic countries and with Church approval such as Violeta Barrios Torres de Chamorro of Nicaragua and Maria Corazon Sumulong Cojuangco-Aquino of the Philippines.
