Honest. I’ve got a vice-gripping crescent wrench. Best thing ever invented. All these other tools are nice, but my favorite tool does about half my jobs.
1/4” impacts/ratchets. Are probably the most useful tool for any mechanic field. I’d pair that with a 6” wide mouth adjustable wrench. You can handle a lot of stuff with that combo. I’m in heavy machinery so we have a lot of nuts to deal with. More so than automotive.
I’ve Been Absolutely Abusing My Old Version DEWALT Battery Impact Driver Meant For Screws I Use it With a Socket Adapter and Just Beat On it on a Daily Basis It’s Been Over 10 Years Now & it’s Still Goes Perfectly!!!! 🤷♂️😂😂😂
Notice most of em use Milwaukee. There’s a reason. I bought 2 power tools from Snapon before I realized it was a waste. Everyone else in the shop had stronger tools from Milwaukee and spent 1/2-3/4 what I did.
That snap on 14.4 i pick up every time, over the millwaukee 12v or 18v. I like tools from both, but the snap on 14.4 ratchets are way better than millwaukee 12v ratchets. Not a fan of snap on 18v.
Not sure why the last guy is using a surge for mechanic work. It's for electricians for noise reduction purposes. The standard driver has soooo much more power .. ps for the ones Wondering. The tools he's holding is easily identified by the molded in cover. The tool is hydraulic
10-20 times a day. It that tech a service mechanic or salesman. I only work on 1 car but easily I'd use my impact more than that. 20 times is only removing the wheels.

😭😭😭
That’s me
Stg, surprised he didnt friction weld my shit together
He looked stupid enough to do that..

Gin on the job

There was only one Milwaukee impact here

just in time for the holidays, what a "coincidence"
as an audi tech the electric ratchet truly is gods gift to mankind. the amount of t25s just scattered around these vehicles does not seem possible, but by god they grow like fucking wildflowers on these things
Audi tech, favorite tool, the cash register. Filling it with people's money that drive any used German car. Expensive repairs.
Nah they make like 5% of what the actual repair cost was
@@aayesher9400 I have a family mechanic, gratefully. I understand that labor costs are up there.
Mechanics deserve the money that they earn, but I've only ever owned older cars.
You can’t go wrong with Milwaukee fuel tools. Worth every penny
You know Andre is the lube tech without him saying it.
Andre is definitely pulling more bitches than you ever could
Definitely 😂
My first thought exactly
Yeah true, but you gotta start somewhere.
@wompagompa my thoughts exactly
"Oramlnge thunder" I love Milwaukee but can dig this dudes simplicity
My favorite tool for working on Audis is Tannerite.
Cleanest mechanics I’ve ever seen

Even in the heavy diesel side, the 1/4 electric ratchet is still my favorite!
Not the mechanic calling his impact wrench a impact driver in the Third clip
It’s actually an impact driver😂 I have one myself
@@tabaricurry4668 i think he's talking about the guy that called the air impact gun a impact driver.
@@stv-gq4vi I see now. I didn’t even pay attention he looked like a paid actor 🤣🤣🤣 none of us look like that at Audi

The guy with an ingersoll 2235ti calling it a “impact driver” 😮😮😮😂😂😂😂😂😂
Show me your favorite tool. *starts unzipping. "Wtf are you doing.".... "you asked for my favorite tool"
"That's a nice tool. How many times do you use it a day?"
My favorite tool when working on my audi is the diagnostic scanner
mine is my snap-on air hammer, such a versatile tool.
1st and 4th guy are very smart. I promise the power ratchets are your best friend
I got one as a gift and always wanted one, but never thought i would use it all that much, but after getting it it is easily the most used tool in my box.
dude with the *impact wrench"👀👀.... looks like they found him in the office 😂😂
I wouldn’t trust the 3rd guy to do my oil change
And why not?
Impact the drain plug on like it's hot
interesting baseless judgement
Why bro seems nice 😭
Hes probably okay but if I were shop manager I'd require to clean up appearance
My favorite tool if I had to say would be ratchets cuz what any impact can’t remove a ratchet/breaker bar can.
as an audi tech myself.. yeah. Orange Thunder and I have become good friends.
They’re all blitzed I fuck with it
I have everything except 4 and can say they’re all great and reliable brands
Andre got that lighskin stare

The bro with the “impact driver”
We use an impact wrench full power on anything and everything. Including them 6mm bolts.

So far Milwaukee air ratchets are at the top of the list
YES! My favorite tool as a VW tech, that long neck makes such a difference. Along with the super shallow blue point bits, and the m12 1/4 driver.
Zero complaints with Milwaukee.
You “Takes audi to get fixed”
Mechanic “Guy uses big ass hammer”
You “A bruh did my bumper used yo look like this”😂😂😂
What's funny is for a majority of repairs the whole ass front bumper comes off the car. So you have no idea how accurate this is
Bro I love the vibe of this shop!!!
There you have it boys, this explains why your oil drain plugs are so tight. Impact driver is the only tool they use for tightening
If I saw Andre working on my car I would immediately be worried
All have big fancy EMPTY toolboxes
Power rachet and swivel sockets are every mechanics best friend
Those ratchets are a godsend. Gets into tight spots with minimal effort. Gotta appreciate when your knuckles aren’t busted up.🙏🏼😂
The smartest one is the guy with orange deadblow. Tap tap the bolt is loose. Wrench+deadblow wins 85% of the time against stuck fasteners.
I absolutely love the new high torque cordless Milwaukee ratchet
My favorite tool is "the right one for the application".
Air impact driver? That’s an impact wrench 🤣
Yet to see one of these where the guys give a cool tool that’s handy that not everyone has already

Imagine being an Audi tech. Bless their soul.
I can't tell you how many times each day I reach for my pocket screwdriver. A close second would be my pocket Streamlight.
Yep, I carry a Leatherman and a pocket light at work every day, that and a Klein 13 in 1. Itll fix almost anything we work on.

I just watched a snap on ad proving that the snap on cordless 3/8 is better than the Milwaukee. So for you it’s time to upgrade

Talk about having superior job security, being an Audi mechanic.
Did that first guy say his tool was a “life saver” or a “lite saber”???? 😂😂😂😂
The LIFT. Clearly.
Long neck battery rachets are amazing
I believe the guys who say 1/4’’ driver, cause the first step of any Audi maintenance is to remove the entire front end of the car.
Interviewer - What's your favourite tool?
Technician -reaches for a Jerry can and a box of matches
Big ups to you Audi guys. We usually turn down VW products.
As a machinist it's hard choice between my impact driver or my duel sided mallet

Favourite tool??? The service manager
These guys obviously don’t work in the rust belt. If they did, “big air hammer” would be the answer every time.
Once you get your bill from the shop , you'll figure out where all that snap- on and Milwaukee stuff came from :)
The hammer guy is a real one
Tourch and hammer
that last clip you don't use those for working on cars, those are for other applications

Favourite tool is my 1/4 inch bluepoint impact wrench and my snapon torque wrench

Either Audi pays its technicians really well, or they supply the tools. Seen a whole Lotta Milwaukee and snap on in that shop
That’s like every mechanic ever lol
Fr mechanics spend all their money on car parts or tools💀
It’s a mix of shop discounts on top of inflated pay since it’s a luxury brand.
I made a ton of money when I worked for Audi
